Please note this company was fraudulent in obtaining insurance money for a roof that was not completed. Building inspector failed it and water leaked in on Saturday March 8, 2024. We have not had a response from them as they were notified of the leak and stated they would be out which was a week ago. Contractors' sister Rosa and told us it was condensation which was not true. Our insurance company is helping us as well. I am concerned further damage will occur. Also, they took apart our kitchen pulled a permit to remodel it then left it for 6mos not completed left it without walls only plastic and insulation which could be a board of health issue.if you need pictures or any other information, please let us know. We would like this resolved and the company come back to complete the roof to the building dept code.Thank you for your time. Please contact asap as water damage will continue when it rains!Business Response

Hired contractor to install handicap accessible shower with 1 in lip to keep water in. And widen a door to make handicap accessible. The company used 2 different color white tiles, shower has a 6 inch lip making it unable to get a wheel chair in. Crew damaged my vanity and left a huge mess. Have many other unnecessary damages that had to be fixed. Told me they were done the job. Boss called next day looking for final payment and issued a final invoice. When i sent pictures of the mess. They tried walking it back saying job wasnt done but they sent a final invoice and wanted payment and would never have offered to come back if i didnt complain. I refused to let them back due to damage done. Was told job would take about a week and ended up being 23 days without a bathroom. My husband has difficulty climbing stairs due to disability which made upstairs bathroom hard to use for that length of time. I hired someone else to clean up mess and finish the job. Job was $7000 we paid $3900 refuse to pay anymore as we had to hire someone to fix all the damage. Txt message said guy coming to finish up installing shower door and finishing touches on Wednesday the 30th. The photos i am sending are how he left it when he told me the job was finished and boss would call for payment next day which he did..Business Response

What Ms. **** is complaining about is not true. We were hired by ************ to perform bathroom remodeling. Existing bathroom to remove existing bathtub and build a walking shower with tile (tile to use what we had on our shop for a left over from other projects, that's what it means tile that agrees with Ciro) on the wall and floor shower area only. To remove the existing door to make it bigger or wider. The work is done about 95% -98% the work is needed to do just a final touch up. On our contract we never agree on getting done for a handicap or anything like that. See attached contract showing scope of work agreement) Now the only thing that somehow got splashed plaster to the vanity. We were 100% able to take care of that. ************ was advised that BBS General Construction Inc, won't start any work without necessary permits approval by the local building department. To get all necessary permits it takes time to and we don't have any control with the building department. Also, the permit couldn't be submitted right away. I was out of the office because I was sick for one week. The project was scheduled right after the permit and it was ready and running smoothly. Until we get to the end Ms. ***** and her husband decided not to allow us to come back to the property. Furthermore we have the right to send the invoice not only to collect payments showing the schedule or payments that we received. She asked us to send out the invoice since they were working on getting the money through a loan. BBS charged ************ additional $500.00 to frame the wall where the shower valves were going to be installed. In order for us to leave up to the required local building code.
BBS Received two payments from ************, first payment the sum of $3,400.00 second payment for the additional work in the shower $500.00. Grand total amount received from her $3,900.00. Ms. *** already pays in full to the plumbing $1800.00 guys, carpenter $2,800.00 and tile guy $2,500.00 plus material and permit fee. This project my brother was doing because she claimed that does not have money to do the work but she really needs to do the work and my brother was doing a favor to her more than looking for a profit.
************ ows BBS $3,600.00.
As I have mentioned on our phone call this morning our attorney has filed a complaint in the *************** court since she is taking advantage of us.
Down below are attached contract agreements between BBS and the homeowner and pictures of the project.

Complaint: ********
I am rejecting this response because:they were fully aware this was a va grant for handicap improvements which they spoke to the va themselves because there was a delay from the va for funds. Process started back last October and funding was issued end of may which they were given there deposit 2 days after receiving it. Why would we ask for our doors to be enlarged to handicap size to accommodate a wheel chair if we didnt request a handicap shower. Down payment given end of may work began august 8 and took 22 days and still not done. Every time they came we had complaints. They refused to answer calls and i complained by txt. I have pictures and documents from everything and will be glad to resolve in court. I want this to be a formal complaint on the record. And we did agree to leftover white tile but were told it was the same not 4 different shades of white. Who would ever agree to that. And yes we financially could not afford to pay which is why they agreed to the contracted grant price of $7000.00 a grant is not a loan! They agreed to the handicap veterans hisa grant
