In November 2023, Aspire Med spa was offering Black Friday specials on their services, which include ***** and dermal fillers. As a courtesy, clients are allowed to purchase services in advance and bank the services for future use, in order to get the special prices. Not all med **** offer this bank, but Aspire Med Spa clearly states in their ads that clients can bank services. Therefore i purchased 1 syringe of dermal filler for $499, which i banked for future use. Last week i decided i want to use my banked lip filler, and when i tried to contact Aspire medspa, they have abruptly closed without notifying any of their clients. I went online to try and search what happened, but have come up empty handed. However, i did read another complaint on Reddit, regarding the exact same issue as myself; purchase of a service without providing the service.

The spa (Peabody location) was having a promotion on filler and I was told I could bank the 2nd one and I also have $500 in gift certificates; The Peabody location closed and I was told I could go to either one of the other 2 locations and they are now closed as well. I never received any notification that any of the locations were closing. What can be done at this point???

The service package was paid upfront with no expiration day. The business silently closed all their locations.

On August 30, 2023 I purchased lip filler at Aspire Med Spa. The purchase was a two for one deal .. two vials of lip filler for $700. I had one vial injected that day and the second vial was held in "layaway" for injection at a later date. I was looking to make an appointment for the next injection only to learn that they have closed their doors without notifying me. Had I been notified would I have either made an appointment sooner or requested reimbursement. No I can not receive a service I prepaid for.

I purchased a laser hair removal package, $2000 for a year of unlimited laser, from Aspire Med Spa in *******, ** in October '23. In January '24, my appointment was canceled. When I called to reschedule I was redirected to their *********, ** location and told by reception I could continue services there or be refunded. I wished to refunded and spent months calling, initially weekly, to be told by reception that management was working through a list of clients and I was flagged in the system. They have since sold their ********* and ********* locations and done the same to even more clients. I would like a full refund for this package.

I prepaid for services that I was told will not expire and when I tried to schedule an appointment the phone number doesn't work. Looks like at least one location is closed but I cannot get in touch with others.

I purchased a $2000 laser hair removal 12-month package on November 11, 2023 through Aspire Med Spa. Ive used only 6 months of it and in March received an email from awaken med spa saying Aspire no longer exists and they are now awaken medical spa. The email says they cannot honor packages we had with previous Aspire, and if I want to continue my 1 year with Awaken, I must purchase a package through them, meaning give them even more money. This means I paid $2000 to Aspire but did not get to complete my 12 month service. ****** told me to dispute the charge with my bank but my bank rejected my dispute since its been more than 120 days and since the company did exist at the time. Awaken says they are not affiliated with Aspire, but it doesnt make sense that the Awaken phone number was the aspire phone number for several months and that all my appointments I made with Awaken during ****** *** I was getting appointment reminders from both Awaken and Aspire. What also doesnt make sense is how Awaken was able to convert the office space that quickly with all new decorations, paint and branding, only seems possible if Aspire and Awaken were conspiring together on this. It feels very sketchy, really hoping I can get my money back from this business that robbed me. My receipt of purchase is attached
