    Sonny Nelson (Roland is his name) of Nelson Outdoor Living and Pools was so awful to work with. He lied about timelines and usually because "things were delayed in shipping". Come to find out he had used all our money (not at this job) and didn't have money to pay for the items. We had to take over paying for everything directly with the distributors and basically run the job for him. We also paid the workers as he didn't have the money to pay them. Things were not done right and we spent extra money redoing it all. He would talk to us in a very rude and condescending way. He said we micromanaged, always changing things, etc. This was a HUGE job and you would expect he would work with us along the way. Especially as it all started to come together things would change here and there. We had to stay on him as he could not be trusted. After this job most of his workers left him, a number of the distributors refuse to work with him (mostly for unpaid bills) and a number of clients are unhappy with him. We gave him a second chance after the winter, as he apologized admitted he lied and promised it wouldn't happen again. Said "he had a bad year" and learned from it. Shame on us for believing him. He worked at our house for almost a year and we still have things that are not done. We have to hire other people and pay extra for things not done and all his mistakes. He was awful to work with and I want to warn others do not work with him. You will be sorry in the end and I don't want anyone to go through what we did. He turns it around and blames everyone else when in reality it was him.
