I am a U.S. veteran and co-borrower on a joint auto loan with Digital Federal Credit Union (DCU). Despite having no access to the vehicle, I have been held solely responsible for a loan that the primary borrower actively controlled, used, and refused to refinance. The vehicle was moved out of state, and I repeatedly informed *** that I was not in possession of it.*** refused to repossess the vehicle initially citing title issues, and later stating the car had insufficient value, with no inspection or documentation provided. They eventually charged off the loan without evenly applying responsibility or allowing me access to resolve the matter.Throughout the process, I experienced multiple contradictions from *** regarding lender-placed insurance (CPI), servicing errors, and the sudden removal of the loan from my online banking access without warning. Their responses to formal complaints were dismissive, confusing, and frequently contradicted their own written ************* of today, the primary borrower is still listed as residing at my address in official documents without my consent. Despite raising serious concerns, including safety and financial harm, *** has taken no meaningful action to correct this situation.I have submitted complaints to the Consumer Financial ***************** and strongly caution others especially veterans and co-borrowers to be extremely careful before entering into any financial relationship with this institution.

My fiance went there for an auto loan, he was approved 2 times and when another lady came in, he opened his mouth and told her sorry "I talk slow because I had a stroke in 2017", the lady turned around and didn't give him that loan and mind you, he had a friend who was a salesman with him, they told the salesman he can't come in and slammed the door on him.

We recently applied for an auto loan with ***, and the experience was beyond frustrating. When filling out the application, *** had already pre-filled some information incorrectlyspecifically, they used my wifes maiden name instead of her legal married name. Since their system did not allow us to correct it, we had to proceed as is.Despite running her credit using her correct social security number and approving the loan under her actual credit profile, *** refused to send the check to the dealer until we submitted additional documentation, including a marriage certificate, social security card, W-2, and W-4. In all our years of buying vehicles, we have NEVER been asked to provide such excessive paperwork after approval. This was not our mistakeit was ****. Yet, instead of simply correcting the error on their end, they wasted over six hours of our time and required more than 12 phone calls with no resolution. After all that, we were left with a hard inquiry on my wifes credit and no funded loan.We ultimately closed our account and went with a different lender that didnt put us through unnecessary hurdles for an already approved loan. As a business owner, my wife will never trust *** again, and we strongly advise others to stay away from this disorganized and incompetent institution. If you value your time, credit, and sanity, avoid DCU at all costs.

I have been a *** member since the early '90s. Lately I've been truly disgusted by them. Right now I put in a large deposit into my *** account to pay off a large loan that is not with ***. This is a large interest loan and each day I accumulate interest. The payoff needs to happen within one day from now and I have been waiting 3 days and trying to get this bill paid in ***. Keep s canceling the transaction, even though I have called them and told them that this is valid and the payee has been in their system for 4 years and I've been paying the monthly through ***. ***. Holding my money hostage! Now I may actually have to pay more on the payoff as it will not get there on time. I am truly truly disgusted that it is my own money and I have to jump through hoops to pay a bill. Whether it's large or not. It is my money and I personally have asked them to send it out. Yet. It has been 3 days and I'm still waiting

*** is absolutely the worst. I don't even know how they're considered a bank. They break every law going charging. Double interest on accounts that have never ever been delinquent. They take interest out of a principal payment. When the account is paid ahead and then they refused to give the money back. So then I paid off the account. They got the money on Wednesday, but they charged me interest until Friday. I don't know how they stay in business without people suing them

I've never been so discriminated against in such a fashion, and what made it worse it happened in two different bra branches, ******** and Framingham back to back...They came up with excuses not to cash a check issued to me from my partner's business account... I'm taking serious actions against them and never again dealing with them. Wish I could give never Star

I am a 20 year old Member and *** wants to cheat me out of $150 for refinancing a loan with them. I called their call center to ask if there is any charge and they said no and then went back on their word after pulling credit. I had to lodge a complaint with *** for this behavior. By the way, when you call their call center they pick up the call and you can hear children crying in the background and other noises and their employees are distracted. This is the way they do their business. I cant belive they have to stoop to this level to make $150.

never tend to leave reviews, but I feel compelled to inform the public about DCU Credit Union. I opened a savings account with *** and signed in to connect my personal checking account to my *** savings account. The transaction appeared to have gone through smoothly; I even received email confirmations from *** and my personal bank confirming its success. The next day, when I attempted to log in to my *** savings account to ensure the funds were there, I couldn't log in. I called customer service for help, but they advised me to wait for a letter in the mail without any idea of when it would be sent. After a week or two, I called back and received the same advice. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but the customer service representative claimed he was the supervisor. The letter arrived after more than a month, informing me that they had closed my account due to mishandling. I called again to ask for an explanation of how I had allegedly mishandled my account. I was treated as though I didn't matter, with no explanations given, even after calling corporate. To this day, I have no idea what I did wrong. *** lacks a level of respect towards people that, to me, is unacceptable and disturbing. I don't know about anybody else, but nobody has the right to accuse you of doing something wrong without telling you what it was! Just be careful with ***!
