I am writing regarding my recent order (#UO33297) placed on November 17, 2024. I received the shirt on December 2, 2024, and immediately tried it on. Unfortunately, the shirt was too small despite my ordering the correct size (Large).I promptly reached out via email to inform the merchant of the issue and requested a return. In response, they provided an address for the return but mentioned a $3 restocking fee, which I understand. However, I was informed that they would not provide a return shipping label, citing that I should have reviewed the sizing chart on their website. Upon measuring the shirt, I found that the chest width is only 17 inches, not the 22 inches listed on the chart. I have already sent a photo showing this discrepancy.I have called their customer service twice and left two voicemails, but I have not received any response. Furthermore, I am concerned that they are limiting my return window to 30 days, which may lead to my inability to return the item due to the lack of proper communication and support.I believe it is unreasonable for me to bear the cost of return shipping for an item that was misrepresented in terms of sizing. As an e-commerce company, they should be aware that customers cannot try on items before purchasing, and therefore, I believe it is their responsibility to cover the return shipping in cases of such discrepancies.I respectfully request that they provide me with a return shipping label and resolve this matter as quickly as possible. I do not feel it is fair to be out of pocket for both the original shipping cost and return shipping for an item I cannot use.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I placed an order months ago now at this point, I have reached out to them multiple times as far as getting the items shipped to me. They told me it would be shipping soon roughly around the end of July. We are approaching October now and they have not responded to any emails or notifications Ive sent to multiple email addresses as well as their online chat bot. I just want the items I ordered to be shipped and it seems based on other online reviews this is a frequent issue with them. I spent around $190 on my only order Ive had from them. Their UK branch I believe has responded to me and their unable to help since this is the USA order but if there is any information you need on top of this let me know. None of the items are pre order which require a delayed shipping so that is not a reason they have not shipped.Customer response

Order a shirt from downright merch on July 26th and I haven't received it yet. All my attempts to get a reply from the company have gone no where. There was a breif conversation on Aug 30th about my shirt not being in stock and that it could be replaced with another shirt of the same price. I haven't heard anything back and at this point I'd just like a shirt that's the same price or my money back at this point.Business response

Hello I placed an order for merch through this company for the band Bodysnatcher. When I received my order they sent me the incorrect shirt. I had ordered a specific predator T-shirt but they sent me a completely different one. I reached out to the company immediately via email with a photo showing the incorrect shirt and NEVER received a response. I have emailed MULTIPLE times and have heard nothing. I just requested that they send me the correct shirt or refund and have received nothing. It will not allow me to attach the screenshots I have but would be happy to email these to show my story.Initial Complaint

On July 19th 2023 i placed an order for Tshirt on the shop app from this company the total was $27.94. i had to reach out to downright merch in order to change my order from a large, which was the size i ordered, to a medium. it took them 2 weeks to respond to that initial email and an additional week for them to confirm they changed my order. since then i have not received anymore updates or emails regarding my order. I have sent more that 5 emails in the past 2 months requesting a refund as the shirt i bought was meant to be worn at a concert i was going to which had passed by the time i asked for my refund. My last email was sent in October and i told them if they did not respond with a refund for the full amount and an email confirming that they had, i would file a complaint. of course they had more than enough time to respond and decided not only to not refund me but to also not even bother to respond to my email. Im extremely disappointed in the support because the shirt i bought was the merch of a musician i very highly respect and it bug me to know that he works with such a horrible company. I expect a FULL refund of my money for my item and the shipping i paid for that item. without any of their made up fees. My order number was #KH2338Initial Complaint

I not so recently ordered a vinyl by a band that I have enjoyed for years to have signed at a meet and greet. I ordered the vinyl a whopping 2 months before the concert. 8 whole weeks with only 1 week having a holiday that should have prevented any mail from moving. I still to this day have no update on an order status or have had any reply by this fake company. If you try to get a refund they have a policy about that NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. You can get store credit but they will not ship to you. The scary thing is i saw they recently partnered with another merch company i want to say nuclear blast records. I have no longer any intrest in shopping either of these businesses due to the inconsideration and disreguard by the company Downright merch. For an order placed 2 months prior I would atleast expect a email saying its delayed or they simply dont have the stuff to ship anyways. I just hope more people will not make the mistake of using this company for any of their merch related purposes if you are able to order direct from the bands and artist you like to avoid future companies like this one to take advantage of fans and bands.Customer response
