I received 2 letters from CCS regarding a bill from Quest Diagnostics. I have not paid the amount in full because the balance has not been updated to reflect prior payments. I am willing to pay what I do owe however I can't get anyone to credit my payments so I can pay the balance of what I owe. I have tried numerous times to reach Quest and CCS and provide both with proof of all my payments so far and yet they continue to ignore my messages, emails, faxes, and evidence of payment. If they would just tell me what I owe after applying my prior payments, then I would pay immediately. I refuse to over pay.

I was placed into collections with Progressive and was contacted by CCS for payment via mail/phone, I initally explained to a rep that due to the impact of Covid and being a single mother, with no other assistance but my 1 income , that was losing hours at work but would pay as soon as i could but at that time I could not pay the balance in question. I did not dispute the validity of the debt but the time to payback. They continued to contact via mail and phone every 2 days until I asked for a non contact, I was finally able to find some money to pay this bill . I contacted CCS on 9/28/2021 and was prepaired to make my payment at that time to close and remove the debt. I spoke with a representative and negoiated payment in full and a removal from my 3 credit reports. She verbilly agreed to this and the bill was paid. I then called back in November inquiring as to why it has not been removed and was told it could "take several months" to be removed. Fast forward to today 2/24/22, CCS is still reporting to all 3 burreau's as a "closed account" which is having a negative effect on my credit scores. I called today spoke with Representative miranda Stoddard who told me they as a company would and will never negotiate, nor will they as a company pay to have markings removed from credit bureau's and they report as "Paid in Full".Per the FCRA requirements. She was adimit that noone in the orginization could assist me when I asked for a supervisor, she was willing to transfere but gave me a warning there was nothing they could do. I have pulled all reports and they are reporting yes as "Closed" but not paid in full. I and my child are in need of new housing and I have been declined on several occassions due to this "COLLECTIONS" being reported and effecting my credit score. I paid the balance off in full with the verbal understanding this would be removed from all 3 of my Credit Bureau's ,

I have no knowledge of this company or alleged debt. I have disputed this debt with the credit bureaus and it came back verified i have since then contacted the company and haven't received a response. Our office is in receipt of the complaint filed by *********************. We greatly appreciate this opportunity to respond.

************* indicates that she has no knowledge of the account, but we sent her two (2) letters beginning in September 2021 regarding the debt owed to our creditor-client. We have no reason to believe she did not receive the letters because they were not returned as undeliverable. Furthermore, we have no record of receiving any prior disputes directly from her or indirectly through the credit reporting agencies.

************* is requesting validation of the debt, but at the same time she requests that we cease our collection efforts. These companies are trying to collect on debts that aren't owed by me. they have taken more than 60 days to respond to my complaints and I intend on holding them civilly and criminally liable. they have broken many laws and they know that, so the fact that they are attempting to collect on debts that aren't owed by me is an outrage. They are playing with my intelligence now and I don't appreciate it. I have been declined for a car, mortgage and other lines of credit due to these companies. I demand these items be removed from my credit report since reporting is totally optional and the laws they broke in the letters that I sent them. I am flexing my right to rescission and want every dime back that I ever paid (which I have outlined in my letters). If they want to end up in court we can definitely go that route. I have given them ample time and opportunity to make these situations right so now I will be filing claims in court. Tell them to remove these unknown account in my report and pay what they owe.For this item to be deleted from my consumer report immediately.

Our office is in receipt of the complaint filed by *******************************. We greatly appreciate this opportunity to respond.

*************** had previously raised similar concerns in a complaint he filed with the ************************************ (CFPB). In response to that complaint, we obtained documentation from our creditor-client to support that the debt is owed by ****************. The supporting documentation from our client within several days of receiving that complaint, so that does not correspond with his statement that it took us more than 60 days to respond.

Notwithstanding the above, we have closed the account with our office and the credit reporting agencies (CRAs) are being instructed to delete the account. Please note that we cannot control the speed in which the CRAs will act upon our request and recommend giving them at least thirty (30) days to update their records.

Our office is in receipt of the complaint filed by *******************************. We greatly appreciate this opportunity to respond.

***************** indicates the account is falsely reporting on his credit report. He also indicates he has no knowledge of our company, but in June 2020 he agreed that he owed the debt to our creditor-client and paid this account with our office. Notwithstanding, a credit reporting agency recently notified our office that this account was being deleted from ****************** credit report. They did not provide a reason for this, and even though our office was accurately reporting the account, we have updated our account accordingly.

Credit Collection Services is currently reporting a collection for ******************* for a vehicle that I no longer possess. I have contacted CCS in an attempt to resolve this matter, and in trying to get this resolved and removed from my credit report, I also followed up with ******************* (the original collector) for proof and validation that this debt is valid and to verify the amount. On two separate occasions, I spoke with *********, and they stated they are unable to locate an account for me. They are not able to provide me with any information regarding this debt, and I am not even able to see that there is a balance on my account in my portal which I am still able to access. I have attached that as evidence. I am requesting that this item be removed from my report.
