I had a recruiter, **************, calling me sometimes three times a day. He put my name in for jobs in other states. Asked that I get licensed in **********. I paid $200 to get this going. Put in my profile for contracts and told me I had a really good chance of getting the positions. I had not even been licensed in these dates yet!! I dont understand why he kept calling me and trying to get me excited about a position with great money that was no way it was going to happen anytime soon! Felt like a scam for sure! I would not get involved with this full of nonsense company. I think the recruiters get paid per call and how long they can keep you on the phone!

Do not trust recruiters in **! Especially the women! Its all a scam! They dont want to actually help you or care for you or family. They simply are only a pyramid scheme where they promote women to solicit themselves to earn business with them and buy them items. They just care about themselves and not the CANDIDATES. This is a business to protect the workers- right? WRONG. I had a terrible women recruiter (will not name names as she is still working in ** location) and she went through the process HORRIBLY, license was messed up from start to finish, assignment was never real, made me move out to a different state for my recruiter to tell me that the client canceled the job AFTER I paid for an apartment and everything out there. Dont trust the women recruiters in **, but, overall, dont EVER work with Barton as many healthcare workers, ESPECIALLY during covid-19 have been severely screwed over.

Barton Associates and his clients are bunch of liars and cheats..Never trust them or work for them..ever again. They expected a Thirty day advance Notice from a provider as a locum Hospitalist but Barton Associate and their so called client cancelled my signed contract in advance with less than Seven day notice...!!!Had I cancelled this contract at a short notice, they would have chewed me up. I wish someone could take serious notice of their sick and filthy business practices...!!!

DO NOT WORK WITH THEM IF YOU WANT TO PROTECT YOUR CAREER!!!I had worked with Barton 2014-15, so I trusted them in 2019 when they approached me about telemedicine opportunities. I was a less than a year out of residency already with a fulltime dream job but also anxious to pay back loans. They told me that they vetted the telemedicine companies and new laws allowed me to review charts without having to physically see patients. The patients were triaged by nurses and I just had to review and sign. Little did I know that this was all a lie. These companies were committing fraudulent activity, and when Barton found out, they did not notify me until I called and asked myself. When I asked for help against any litigation, a representative said there's nothing they could do and literally hung up the phone on me. The malpractice insurance has not been covering this because there have been so many doctors who work with Barton involved in the same thing. Now I am unemployed with a criminal record and solely being held accountable for a huge scheme that Barton was the primary advocate for. I had 2 different representatives from Barton pushing this same scheme. Barton is TERRIBLE for the most vulnerable doctors who are simply trying to work and use the skills they have worked so hard to learn, to help people. Please save yourself, your livelihood, your reputation, and your career by avoiding Barton at all costs. There are so many other more reputable and safer physician staffing companies out there for docs looking for work.

In 2020 ************************* of Barton Associates bean calling me even before I sold my practice in August of *************************** for locum tenens employment as a General Dentist. I had a good practice for 42 years at a teaching hospital for a major university.. Due to my advanced training I was one of two dentists who regularly treated the medically compromised patient in the Operating Room in Metro Atlanta, **.Finally I began working for Barton in July 2021 off and on through the first week of August of 2022. I had worked at five different offices with no issues whatsoever. The first week of August 2022 I worked for four days at *************************** in ********** (A ************************* I had originally contracted for 7 weeks as the two young female dentists had resigned. I only lasted one week at this terrible office. I would NOT put up with the backstabbing female staff who severely criticized me. While in this office I observed quite a bit of overtreatment of patients. I refused to perform treatment that was not needed. I was called upon to redo a crown preparation that was totally inadequate from a clinical standpoint. I also noticed a lower, hybrid, implant supported prothesis (supported by 5 implants) whose most posterior implant had no bone on it's cheek side. This is what you get with a cattle drive dental service organization whose only motive is profits. The two dentists before me were young and inexperienced. I had met with the outgoing "manager" and the new incoming "manager" on Wednesday morning of that week. I obtained a copy of an internal Heartland Email that said I was "defensive" and "not willing to accept my failures". It took everything in my being not to completely lose it on the spot!I told the new manager the following Saturday by text message that I would not be coming back! She acknowledged the receipt of the message. I am now on Heartland's "No Fly list" and *******'s "No Fly List". Barton is a back stabbing w****

Take me off the no fly list and I will consider removing the comment. This office was a bad fit and I was furious at the way those individuals treated me.

Beware of working with this company. They pull the classic bait and switch move with the providers while taking advantage of medical facilities by charging a markup of upwards of 200%. As an former Associate Team Manager, who was with the company for almost 3 years, I saw first hand what my colleagues were capable of however, upper management is the worst. The rules only apply when it benefits them making more money. My main purpose of filing this complaint is to let current and future employees know how toxic and ***** Barton Associates is. Barton Associates prays on eager and motivated sales associates, most of which are recent college graduates who have never held a position. Once an assignment is approved, Barton will only pay the recruiter a very small percentage of the incentives from the very large markups and these are only paid once a week from once the assignment starts. Sometimes, these assignments can take months to start because of credentialing. An example of how greedy Barton Associates is: For a 6 month contract Barton will generate approximately $500k in profit, the provider will receive about 40% of that as their income, the recruiter will receive approximately $100 weekly, or $2,600 total. If the associate who placed this provider on assignment is no longer with the company, they do not receive incentives despite continued billing benefiting Barton Associates. If a recruiter takes over the providers account, they still do not receive incentives.

Hello ********,Thank you for reaching out regarding the experience that you had as an employee. Please know that all feedback is reviewed and shared with upper management. In cases where concerns or situations are found to be accurate, they are addressed. As a sales organization, our business offers entry-level or recent graduates the opportunity to earn a competitive base pay with uncapped commission on our sales and recruitment teams. That commission pay is outlined and reviewed with each member of the team when they are hired and throughout the entirety of their employment. Its this business model, in combination with extensive ongoing training that has allowed all of our managers to start from entry level and rise up through the ranks. We are truly a promote-from-within sales organization focused on our internal staff, our clients, and our valued medical providers. As with any base salary + commission organization, the pay structure does not work well for everyone. It is always our goal to provide a working environment that fosters learning, growth (both professionally and as a person), and offers opportunities for management, leadership, and to earn while employed with us. There is always room for improvement and our teams are continuously reviewing suggestions for improvement. We sincerely hope you all the best in your future endeavors.
