    Vehicle bought on February 27th but did not take possession of the vehicle until late March/early April of 2023. Currently, the loan on the vehicle is estimated at 15K. I feel I was sold a lemon. since taking possession of the vehicle, i have had to return the 2018 compass jeep to the dealer for various reasons as the dashboard would present with multiple mechanical, electrical and battery problems. On Dec 27, 2023, the car was towed again to the dealer and am told it is in need of a new engine. Initially, i was informed that a new engine had been ordered and i would pay a $100 deductible. A week later, I was told and rudely addressed in a discriminatory manner, that I would need to incur the cost of opening & closing the engine ($720 each) as the warranty cost for a replacement engine (estimated $9K) would be approved / denied. I have informed the dealer that am not incurring that cost (nearing $10k) if it is denied. I have approached the Salesman (*******) and Sales manager (*****) to address this issue and make a compliant about how I felt discriminated against. I was told they would follow up and get back to me. Since then, I have heard from ******* after I reached out, that the service manager (*****) is awaiting insurance approval for the diagnosis and thus the repair as he cannot proceed with anything until he hears from the warranty company, although ***** is not sure if the approval for a new engine will be realized or not. He let me know that ***** hoped to hear from them in a day or two. This was on January 9th. I am still yet to hear after several attempts from Priority as it relates to moving forward with repairs. I am left holding the bag including paying off the bank loan.

    Brought my car in on May 10th to have the ** fixed. Picked it up on May 11th after ** was charged and a dye was put in. I was told to bring it back the following week so they could look for leaks. Cost for first trip was $392. I woke up on May 13th and the ** was once again not blowing cold air. I brought it back on May 16th after being away. Car was ready on the 18th after the expansion valve was replaced and the ** was recharged again. Cost for second trip was $550. May 20th, no **.Brought the car back on May 26th. Picked on May 27th and it was found that the expansion valve was leaking so the seals were replaced, and ** was recharged. Cost for third trip was zero. While driving into ****** on the June 15th, with the ** on **** the ** was definitely not cold. On June 20th or 21st, I brought it back. Picked up on June 24th. This time the valve was found to be faulty so a new one was put in and the ** was recharged. Cost for fourth trip was zero. By July 22nd, it was definitely not blowing cold air anymore. I was not able to bring it back until Aug 1st when I was told the ** machine was down. I would be given a rental which I had until Aug 6th. While on vacation, I received a call to say that it was discovered that the compressor needed to be replaced and the total cost was around $2300. If this was discovered the first time, maybe the second time I dropped it off, I would have been ok with it but waiting until the 5th time is not acceptable to me. Yes, they offered to take what I have already paid them and put it towards the new cost but given the cost of gas and time, I shouldnt have to pay another $1400. I told the owner that I would pay about $1000 more and that was it. He said no. I asked for my money back. He said he could give me the $550 back but that was it. I would not get the $392 from the first visit. Ultimately, we had to put in a claim with the credit card company to dispute charges and thankfully we were able to get the rest of our money.
