            I hired Carvalhal Contracting Company in May of 2021 to do work on my shower. What ensued was an absolute disaster that resulted in exponential damages to my downstairs neighbors place. I am now under threat of a lawsuit, which Carvalhal is responsible for. I hired them 5/1 to repair my shower. They quoted me $10,825 for **** days of work. They did not pull a permit, as required by law, because they are NOT licensed in the state. More than a month and $13,000 later (to them) and my place was STILL not done. They caused a massive leak into my downstairs neighbor's apartment, by banging on the walls to remove tile and caused ANOTHER leak by trying to attach the toilet. They used Flex Seal to repair the toilet leak, which required another plumber to fix the problem. I have been seeking damages, but they are refusing to respond to me. I have all receipts and documentation of communication.

            ***** gave us a proposal for demo and finishing our basement and bathroom. We gave a good deposit, after a lengthy period of time he did the demo. Carvalhal has not returned a phone call, email, text or any communication at all. Never showed us Carvalhal's license. Seems to have disappeared!
