My daughter bought a 2009 ****** Forester from Broadway Auto a couple of years ago. The car started having problems as soon as it left the lot. She also bought an extended warranty for an additional $2000 plus dollars, that they told her would cover anything "MAJOR" that went wrong with the car. Unfortunately, that was not the truth. The first thing that had to be repaired was the A/C that was probably not working when the vehicle left the lot but it was near the end of winter so she never thought to check it until it was too late. Broadway Auto refused to help with the repair. So that was the first $900.00 repair. Then it was the alternator and the battery, then it was the steering rack, and then the exhaust, and the brakes and then the ball joints......ect. The final trip to the mechanic brought the worse news of all. the undercarriage of the car was just too rusted to be repaired safely without putting thousands of dollars into the repair. I was told that there is no way they did not know the extent of the corrosion. The rocker panels on both sides of the car were nonexistent. The mechanic told me that he couldn't believe that the wheels had not ever come off the vehicle. So at the end of the day, the car was sent to a salvage yard and we still owe $6000 on a car that wasn't even worth $600 when it left the lot. I even asked ***, the owner, if he felt good enough about this car that buy it for his own daughter? Of course, the answer was "yes"!!! I would never recommend to anyone looking to buy a used car to shop at BROADWAY AUTO , ********** **

Not sure if this car was bought at our dealership. Here at Broadway Auto, we pride ourselves on customer service. We urge all customers not to hesitate to call if they need help with any repairs anytime for as long as they own the car. We help by getting them a wholesale cost on any repairs after their warranty expires. We've never refused a request for help from any customer. If this particular vehicle had so many problems and had been to their mechanic so many times and has had so many repairs, how did their mechanic never see the alleged rust which was so obvious until now....? Strange. Nevertheless, if the customer would like to call and come buy another car from us, we would be willing to give her a deep discount and would urge her to have her mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchase so we don't get blamed again in the future for any imperfections.
