This business has terrible customer service and they also aren't committed to what they stand by/say. I had called some time in February to cancel my membership to the clubhouse themselves with a rep that I still remember his name. He asked what was the reason for the cancelation and it was due to non use. He said I was all set. A month later I am still being charged. I called into the clubhouse and they had said I would need to contact a rep from their online portal. I sent an email explaining the situation and how I shouldn't have been charged because we spoke to someone on the phone. They said they would only partially refund a certain amount due to blah blah but I explained to them how is that fair to the consumer if someone didn't properly do their of canceling memberships? After some time back and forth, they agreed to refund me the full amount but did explain that they put the account for cancelation but I had to handle whatever charges during that time which was fine by me. After being told I would receive my refund within 3-5 business days, it never happened. I reached back out to inquire why it wasn't processed, a rep then tried to tell me that they never said that and basically called me a liar despite I have the email thread and sent them a screenshot of their own email and they refuse to now process the refund. Now, they are trying to collect a payment from me which I will not allow for the simple fact they never kept their word on the refund and then try to back track and act like they never said that.Business Response

[I reject because *** has never stated that WOW and *** werent the same company or why they couldnt do the refund because they needed approval. Secondly, they stated that they never said they will provide a full refund which is not true as I have provided a screenshot of the same email thread I kept replying to saying they were going to do a reversal amount of $187.97 and I should see the refund within 3-5 business days. When I hadnt seen anything in the allotted time, I reached out to a rep who basically said that I never received that message even though its in an email thread. I then repeatedly messaged to have this resolved and was told twice to forward the email thread over to prove that it was said. I had forwarded and provided a screenshot to *** who then told me that basically they messed up and they werent going to rectify the issue because their rep ******** have said it but the damage is done and the rep had said they would provide a full refund and as a consumer who waited and was expecting the refund was then in other words basically insulted when I reached out asking where the refund is and told that they never said they would provide the full refund and then now saying it again even though its in a pdf, email thread, screenshot, I forwarded and they still dont want to acknowledge that it was said and they need to rectify the situation by providing a refund. It seems like theres a lot of people being misinformed because the clubhouse also didnt say anything about canceling through email so clearly not a well trained individual and the rep who told me I was getting a refund, another not well trained individual that all falls at the end of the day on WOW or ***. Please review the material sent before saying that *** never told me something because its right there in black and white. ]

Either way, I have contacted WOW and they also do not answer. If you are working with WOW and one of the reps also said that they would need approval from WOW. So why doesn't someone just email WOW and get the refund approved? Like I do not get it at all. I work in customer service in a call center and I would NEVER treat customers the way this third party or company has been dealing with this. They make you feel like you are lying even though it is them and their malpractice of how they handle complaints. This is insane. Please, all I am asking is for someone to do their job correctly. I have done my part, please now do yours. I also find it rather astonishing that the company claimed that they never said they would refund me but I provided proof with their OWN paperwork and they still do not want to acknowledge that they messed up and they need to rectify the situation. It is really that simple.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. Please add your rejection comments below; if you do not provide any details, your complaint will be closed as ********************************** is a bunch of crooks and scammers. The way this is being handled is unbelievable. I went to look at other reviews of their customer service and apparently this situation is a common occurrence. Everyone needs to be trained thoroughly especially at the branches if they are providing false information. You take money, provide the wrong information through branch and online customer service and then blame the consumers for your mistakes without rectifying it. It had to get me submitting a claim to get answers as the customer service tried to tell me what they had said on their behalf was untruthful. You are not a company of integrity. Clearly you need the money more.
