Hello, My name is ********************************* and I live in ******* **. I recently (April 8th 2023) traveled to Boston M.A. to the main Volkswagen store (Boston Volkswagen) to purchase a vehicle and drive it back home. About 90 miles into my drive back with the car a Check engine light appeared on the dash and I wasnt too worried as the car came with a warranty which was valid at my local VW store here in *******. Well it has been ~6 months and my car still has not been driven more then 300 miles back home and straight to the dealer. There is currently no ETA on when I will get my car back as it needs multiple repairs in which VW does not have the supply of parts for. Boston Volkswagen has blocked all communication with me and denied any help with the situation. *** sent emails to their general manager as well as my local VW branch manager tried calling them to no avail. VW of America has accepted my request around 90 days ago to open a case but still nothing has came of it. I feel as this is my last resort before I may take legal action on Boston Volkswagen for selling me a car that had been transferred between dealers multiple times before I bought it indicating that there was issues before I purchased it most likely the same issues Im experiencing.

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I sent emails to them well over 4 months ago without reply and all calls I make to the dealer I get hung up on. Seriously this needs to get resolved.

I have bought Tiguan yesterday from Volkswagen Watertown. Initially I booked a Tiguan with all the safety feature, but the Tiguan was not available for a month. Sale manager **** called me to come personally to refund my money. At that day he showed me other Tiguan, stating that this has all the features but cost $500 less. The sales manager removed the markup price of $500 to convince me to buy this car. In the Car feature ,the only difference I can see was the manual boot door. I booked the car, and I asked the sale person ****** * even the **** ***** manager) about all the feature like lane assist, Blind spot detection and they told me that all features are available in the car. From the first day I was saying them that safety feature is very important for me. Sale manager **** had never showed me the comparison check sheet between these cars (the previous I booked * I purchased now). On the Tuesday, 6/6/22 I reached the dealership at 12:00PM as i wanted to expedite the process of insurance. I waited in the dealership till 5PM and in the meantime I asked ****** about the ** drive, he told me that this is a cool thing and it has everything. I was totally relying on their words for the Car features.Yesterday when I was driving the car back to my place, I noticed that blind spot is not working. I called ****** and **** and left the message, but no one responded. Now today after so many messages and email, when finally, I messaged ****** that I am going to do complaint about U and ****, **** called me, and he was claiming that he explained all the features to me.He was not accepting his fault and disconnected the call intentionally. Safety feature was of prime importance for me. If it was known to me that blind spot detection is not available, I would not have gone for this Car. I feel completed cheated by your sale manager **** * the sale person ******. I want to have this feature in my car. Please take some concreate action for this.
