    I called about a small coolant leak (and could see exactly where is was coming from). Was given an appointment for the following week. *** (the receptionist) said to drop my car off either the night before or by 7:30AM, however, I received a text stating our appt time was at 10. We decided to bring our vehicle for 10 as we new it was something minut. As we sat down, she said if we were going to wait there they would have to reschedule. We decided to take a walk as we felt not wanted. Mind you while waiting, another woman came as a walk in and sat right down to wait. At 11AM a mechanic came and took pics of the outside of our car and left for a drive after idling for about 5 minutes. We decided to go back in and once again *** said I thought yall weren't waiting. I explained we never said that but we knew it was something small. Then she proceeded to tell us most times our extended warrantee might not pay for the diagnostic fee, for techs time. (Techs time was driving our car around the block). We stated once again we knew the issue and we're paying out of pocket. She goes in the back *** comes back to tell us the mechanic believes it's alot worse then just a clamp *** our car is overheating and running funny. We said forget it, we will take our car to the dealer because we haven't had any of these issues. When the mechanic brought our car out, my husband asked him what was going on. ******** said it isn't overheating just above 80 where he likes to see it. It has always ran on 84. My husband said if there isn't an issue we don't mind leaving the car for them to fix, everything just seemed weird. They had no interest in fixing our car and said that was fine we can take it. While speaking, another man came out and asked if everything was OK, as if we were yelling or complaining. I got racist vibes and someone trying to get more money then needed to be spent. Very unprofessional and this is the 2nd time we had an issue. The looks my husband was receiving disgusting

    Thanks for the review. Where you lose us, is when you bring race into the discussion. It's definitely easier and faster to get a resolution when you tell us about an issue and have a conversation about it. Race has zero to do with any of this. We have a lead tech thats Dominican, one of the owners is African American, and the founder of the company is part African American. No one made you feel unwanted based on race. Thats not a factor here. When you made your appointment you said you were leaving the vehicle with us. When you came in, you were never asked to leave, you were asked if you were going to wait. You were never asked to reschedule.You came in with a coolant leak claiming you knew where it was coming from. When we took a look we found your car leaking from a different place, but would need to take some things apart to pinpoint the source. Your warranty that you purchased elsewhere specifically states that we need to determine exactly what failed and your contract doesn't cover any of that testing. We always first start by performing a visual inspection, after a road test to determine what direction we need to go. That's how we determined that it was leaking from a different area.Your issue wasn't with the process, it was that there was going to be a charge when you expected your warranty company to pay, but unfortunately the warranty you bought elsewhere doesn't cover testing to determine what failed.You declined and said you would just go to the dealer. Then you asked one of the Technicians about it and had a pleasant conversation with him. The manager asked about the conversation because your husband stopped the tech while he was walking into the shop to speak with him and they're busy. So questions are always handled by office staff to allow for not rushed and consistent communication. Then you left. We charged you $0. It was an incident free visit. You're still welcome to call and speak to us anytime. We're happy to have an actual conversation about it instead of just having us respond to the same review over and over.
