    On Tuesday April 30 2024 the gas company came to my apartment and said there was a gas problem and turned off the gas for the building resulting in not being able to have hot water or a stove. The property management company offered $50 a day off rent for the troubles. On Friday May 3 they turned the water back on but informed us that they would be taking our stoves and replacing them with new ones and would continuing to honor the $50 off rent till everything was resolved which they sent in a text for to me. Now rent is due tomorrow and they are now just today claiming the will not honor the $50 off per day for the lack of a stove only the hot water which was not what was said. Can someone help please help me. This cant be legal to do to a tenant last minute which I wouldnt have even know if I didnt call them they didnt even let the tenant know!

    My experience with Patriot Property Management has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Here are *SOME* of the major issues I've faced since they took over the property:1. Rent Increase: Shortly after acquiring the property, they raised my rent from $850 to $1200 within a year. When I expressed affordability concerns, the landlord dismissed them, citing market rates, and giving me the old if you dont like it then leave if I could, I would, quickly. 2. Poor Inspection: They failed to inspect the property adequately before purchase, leading to an infestation issue. Their solution was inadequate and left damage unrepaired.3. Lack of Notice: Maintenance has often arrived unannounced, sometimes even starting noisy work early (7am) on weekends. 4. Unresolved Maintenance Requests: Numerous maintenance requests were either canceled or poorly handled. A careless worker damaged my belongings during a paint job (for mold, which he did incorrectly, prompting another maintenance order 2 months later), and the management's response was dismissive. Whatever they used to paint the mold leaks off the ceiling and I have to clean it up daily. Im sure its chemicals.5. Unprofessional Receptionists: Receptionists like *******, ******, and **** were unprofessional, often rude, and unhelpful. ******* mishandled sensitive information and demonstrated poor knowledge of tenant rights. 6. Utility Issues: They stopped covering a utility, mishandled a gas leak incident, and reneged on promised credits for service disruptions.7. Blocked Complaints: Landlord *********************** blocked my number after I raised attention to repeated issues.8. Property Hazards: Maintenance negligence led to nails scattered around the property, causing significant damage to vehicles. They refuse to clean them up.In summary, Patriot Property Management has shown a complete lack of professionalism, responsibility, and respect for tenants/humans. I strongly advise against renting from them.
