Awesome experience for me. I ended up acquiring a savage **** II 22 caliber bolt action rifle a few months ago that had the whole bolt assembly missing. I tried online and found one but the fitment was off and my gunsmith said he wouldn't be able to make it work. I figured I would call savage directly and see if I could possibly buy one from them. The man told me to ship it to them and they would check it out and be able to make one specifically for my rifle for around $50 I called to check in on it after it had been there for around a week. To my surprise, I'm told they made the bolt assembly, tested it and it's already on the way back to me all free of charge. I just finished putting around 50 rounds through the gun a few minutes ago and figured I needed to give them a thank you for treating me so well.Savage Arms, Inc.

Customers service, non existent!! Bought a brand new 110 style rifle in October. Was gifted to my son for Christmas. Opened it up and the rear scope base screws were sheared off. Emailed CS and was told to do online and waited over a weekno reply. Had to call several times to finally get a real person and not get cut off by the extremely busy automated phone service. I was told a 3 week turnaround and its been over 7 weeks. They still wont answer an email so you have to take luck on calling and hope they answer. Get told the same thing for the last 3 weeks, wait one more week. Im about tired of waiting.Savage Arms, Inc.

Terrible customer service. Bought a shotgun in 2024 that failed within 6 months. Returned gun at my expense. Never heard a peep. Call to confirm receipt. Gunsmith just got it. Wait a week. A week later no word. Call again. Gun cant be fixed. Replacing gun. Two weeks later. No inventory. No idea on ETA. Two weeks later same story. Request refund. We don't give refunds. They have had my gun since January. They have my money. Their attitude is we have no idea why youre calling. I will never do business with Savage Arms again.Savage Arms, Inc.

A replacement shotgun is needed for this customer. A replacement of the same model is available currently, however the customer asked for an upgraded model. That particular upgraded model is not in inventory currently and is causing the delay. Timing on the upgraded model has been relayed to the customer. Terrible customer service, actually nonexistent customer service. Wont answer the phone or emails on their website. Bought a Savage Arms A17 and began to have problems with the rotary magazines. Unable to contact customer service I watched a couple of ******* videos and fixed it. Then started to have AccuTrigger problems and have not received any response after months of unanswered emails on their website and 10 unanswered phone calls waiting on hold listening to a recording saying how much they care about customer service. Had to spend almost $300 on an after market (****) trigger since no one at Savage was available to help.Savage Arms, Inc.

I purchased a new Savage model 64 for a first rifle for my granddaughter. We took it out for a weekend of shooting. Before the first magazine was through the rifle the red safety dot fell off into the ground somewhere and couldn't be found. Upon getting the gun home and starting to teach her how to clean a weapon something was rattling around inside. I couldn't shake it out so I had to take the barrel off the gun. When I did a screw falls out. I couldn't find a place for that screw to go so I called Savage this morning. The first guy I talked to ask me to describe the screw which was Phillip's head about a half inch long. He told me there are no Phillips head screws on that gun. I reiterated that this screw fell out of the gun when I took the barrel off the stock. He said what we sold that gun 2 years ago to a distributor so we're not responsible for what happens in between that and the end user. I guess in his mind somebody took the gun apart through a screw in there and then put it back together. Quite preposterous. At that point I asked to speak to his supervisor. After going through the story again with his supervisor he said yes there is a Phillips head screw in between the center stud and the magazine well and it secures the magazine well. So we have determined that's where this screw came from. So we have a loose screw bouncing around in the action with my granddaughter shooting this gun and there could have been a catastrophic failure. Savage did not take this problem seriously their fix was oh we'll send you the washer that's supposed to be under the screw in a new Red Dot to press in the hole. No apologies or anything. I'm very disappointed with Savage arms as a company.Savage Arms, Inc.

Purchased 28ga 555 shotgun at Christmas. After shooting only a half box of shells through it the trigger pen wouldnt reset. Sent it for repairs mid January and was told the repairs would be completed within 2-3 weeks or otherwise be sent a new gun. After 3 months of weekly follow ups and hopes of updated information, I am still waiting for any type of actual progress. How many times can they tell me its going to the range or with the gunsmith til I actually have the product back? Terrible customer service and I couldnt be more disappointed.Savage Arms, Inc.

I purchased a ******* shotgun from an online site. After I received it, I noticed that the vented rib was bent and detached from the barrel. I emailed Savage Arms with explanation and pictures and received a generic reply within a couple of days that they would be contacting me. A couple of weeks passed with no contact. I called them and after a long wait spoke to someone who then sent me a shipping label. I shipped the gun and info to Savage. One week after they received it I called and was told that it takes 2 weeks for a gun to go from downstairs to upstairs (I'm guessing that this means from receiving to the repair area). 2-3 weeks later I call, after long hold, I am told that I should call back the next week to get an update on the status and return shipment info. They have now had my gun for 6 weeks. I spoke to them again today and got the same message, call back in a week or 2 and they will be able to give me a repair status and expected return date. Should be a simple fix, either replace the barrel or replace the gun. Back to the customer service email, I sent email on 1/6/24 and received their reply on 2/6/24. By that time savage had already had my gun for almost 2 weeks.Savage Arms, Inc.
