**WARNING** I purchased a car online with High Rated Auto Company, via ********, based on trust because the car was published as in good condition, but the trust was broken when the car was delivered at my place in NC. I purchased the car "as is", but the company failed to publish, and to mention over the phone (I spoke to the owner Mr. *****), that the car had a heavy smell to cigarettes, that the passenger's electric window wasn't working, and that the car had a dash board damaged (images included) and broken; among other repairs that need to be done. I feel that important information was withheld from me, and the car was not priced correctly online. I took the car to the mechanic, and I got an appraisal on detailing the car, and the repairs overpass the $3,000. I tried to return the car, and I even offered to pay for the toll truck, and the owner refused to accept the car back. This is a company that deceived me big time, and that I can't trust. I hope this review helps you to avoid future expenses and disappointments.Review from Natalie M

I would rate them a 0 stars if I could. This company gouged the price of the vehicle I purchased (a 2012 Honda civic) two thousand dollars higher than market value. I (being foolish) paid that higher price. Within a single month of ownership, the car had significant problems resulting in me breaking down twice while out. In total, the car has spent upwards of three weeks in the shop and I have spent an additional 8K on repairs on top of an already exorbitant purchase price. It is still unreliable. I will be selling it to cut my losses after just 6 months of ownership. This car should not have been for sale in the condition it was in. The repairs the dealer was forced to make because of MD state inspection requirements were made shoddily resulting in further issues down the line. The dealer did not file paperwork in a timely manner and so I was delayed in receiving both my tags (they did not arrive until the day the temporary ones expired) and my title (which arrived 3 months after the sale was complete-- at which point the car had already broken down once). I strongly, strongly advise against purchasing a vehicle from this dealership-- don't believe the reviews because there is absolutely no way that many people have positive experiences with this company.
