      We hired college hunks to help load a moving truck in Baltimore MD on 12/16. We had a scheduled time of 10-12. We received a call before 10 saying it’ll be closer to noon. At 1:45, we called to ask what the status was. The manager refused to answer our calls and texts. At 2:30, I contacted the sales rep who assisted and explained what was going on and that the manager won’t answer our calls and texts. and we immediately got a call from the manager saying they were on their way. 4:00 comes and movers are still not there. We again call and text the manager and he’s ignoring our calls and the sales rep is now ignoring my calls. We started packing because we had movers in Pa that we had paid to help move us by 6. At 5:30, we receive a call from the actual movers saying they’re an hour away and wanted to see if they were still needed. On Monday 12/19 we called and asked for our $100 deposit back since they never showed up and didn’t return our phone calls. We spoke to 4 different people saying they can’t assist but they’ll send the message to the Baltimore office. No one will return our phone calls.

      My step-mother passed away in December; we hired HUNKS to move her condo contents to ******* *** ******** as a donation. When a crew came to assess the contents, they said they would use 2 enclosed trucks and that they would pack, load, and deliver to the donation. When they arrived for the move on 2/27/23 , they had an open, dump-like, truck with rain expected that day. Contents were not packed, they were put in boxes with total disregard to breakage. A ******* reclining couch was stood on end; surely breaking the handle. While in the condo, one worker rifled through a donation bag and removed a phone charger which was later found on the truck's dash. This same worker called his aunt to ask if she needed a mattress. He also put all the hardware for a queen-size sleigh bed in his pocket. A generic donation receipt from Goodwill was emailed to my sister (she was the point of contact for the move). After the fact, one manager, Dominic, did speak with me and said that the other manager would call me back. Since then, no one has called. I've left a subsequent message with Dominic and he has not returned the call since. When I called the franchise number, it was a computer phone tree selection. I did leave a message with the franchise development option and have yet to hear back from anyone. This company did not fulfill their contract. As far as I am concerned, they took the condo's contents to a warehouse and are parsing them out to employees.
