This is a shady business. I called for services (heating unit stopped working) on Jan 10th. The technician came and spent less than 30 mins.... 1) OVERCHARGED - Charged me for one 1 hour and 45 mins (that in its self is a fraudulent). When I called the owner the next week, he started giving some lame excuses (that his technician had to walk over snow and ice!). He finally agreed to charge me for 45 mins only and return me my money (still waiting). 2) QUESTIONABLE DIAGNOSIS “LEAK HEAD EXCHANGE” - The technician, by just looking at the unit, concluded that our heat exchange is leaking. Without doing a thorough inspection and testing, the technician concludes this and strongly recommends that we stop using heating unit immediately. The company later followed-up and was prepared to give me a quote to replace entire unit. When I question how the technician concluded and recommended that solution, the company again starting giving me lame reasons (that they have decades of experience and figure by looking at that, etc). What all the unit needed was a just hard reset (Carrier 33 code)! If anyone interested to know more about my experience with this company please reach out to me.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and want to ensure you’re completely satisfied with our resolution. As discussed, we have agreed to refund the $35 overcharge immediately, and this process is already underway. Please know that our service technician, who holds a Master HVACR license in Maryland and has extensive experience with the ******* 90+ furnace since its introduction in the late 1980s, is committed to providing high-quality service. If there is anything about our agreement that you feel remains unresolved, I encourage you to reach out to me directly so we can revisit the matter and address your concerns thoroughly. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we value your feedback as an opportunity to improve. Thank you for giving us the chance to make this right.

Do not do bussiness with this company. The Owner is rude and has a history of taking advantage of elderly customers. He has unlicensed and undocumented technicians working for him. He will quote you prices for work that you do not need. Although he has been in bussiness for years, doesnt not mean he has is customers best interestet at heart.

The President of this company is very, very rude! I needed to know the size air filter for Heating and Air Conditioning over this past weekend. Upon requesting the information from the President of the company, Harold F. S****, he was very rude, irate and unprofessional. After a couple of calls from and to him, he told me that he was through with me and hung up. I was not given the size of the air filter needed for my system.

Ms. S****** called at Coldspring 9:27am, on Saturday, June 25, 2022. She left message with our answering service for us to return her call. We are closed on weekends except for emergency service. On the following Monday, I personally spoke with her and determined that we installed a 2-ton Payne heat pump through the Maryland State Weatherization Assistance Program, in October of 2015, at her home. She enthusiastically and proudly told me that BGE services her unit, not Coldspring, even though we installed it. She told me that BGE gave her the filter size, I believe it was 16X26, and according to her, she put the filter in the fan coil and it disappeared. The filter was too small and the fan probably pulled it up against the fan housing or into the fan housing. I told her the filter for this heat pump was an odd size and needed to be bought from Carrier, or specially ordered. I gave her a price for a box of 12 filters, $300.00. However, she only wanted to pick up one filter for $25.00. She called again for the filter size and I told her to contact BGE for the correct filter size because according to her, she paid BGE for their service. I told her I was in business to make money, not work free for her. I told her I was done speaking with her because I has wasted too much free time talking to her. I don't understand why she wants me to work free but according her she paid BGE. I am asking you take this review down right away.
    Harold S****, President
