4 starsThis is not a premium service. It’s for convenience. If you’d like that, drop off at your local laundromat for more than twice the price. Sudsters work for near or less than minimum wage, total waste of time for them if there isn’t a tip.Think about how much you would have to get paid to pick up someone’s dirty laundry, pay to wash it out of your pocket, fold it, and take it back. It’s nearly impossible to do a single load from pickup to delivery in less than an hour and a half and pay for a load is roughly $15. That’s before gas, detergent, bags, and cost of laundromat or utilities. Granted there are obviously some bad apples but they are weeded out very very fast and you’ll be unlikely to have a major issue again. Don’t be petty with your reviews in the app because while unfortunately you you can get rid of a good Apple almost just as easily. Workers are punished very severely for getting even the slightest complaint. An item might have a damp spot, something not folded perfectly, an item might end up in another bag due to weight issues. Think about how much of an issue something is before rating less than 5 because you could be costing someone their job. It takes 5-10 perfect orders to make up for a subpar review. These things should be reflected in tips and not reviews unless it’s something serious like cigarette smoke, not folding, damaged items, etc. Many sudsters are also being overworked and underpaid at other full time jobs, and also have children and other obligations. Set your expectations with this in mind. Again the app and price you’re paying is simply for your convenience so don’t expect absolute perfection every time and hurt a hard working employee. Their system makes things extremely difficult for employees when customers are super picky. Service that meets or exceeds your expectations should be reflected in a tip. Also be courteous with your laundry. For example nobody wants to pick out a pair of feces covered clothing out of your bag.Review fromLisa V

1 starNew customer on 3/4 with immediate text that my service will be picked up between 3-7pm from Queen-my ‘sudster’ it is 1:15 on 3/5 and after countless texts with Queen, my laundry is still at my house! I rescheduled things at least 3 times trying to accommodate her and I can’t begin to explain my frustration! This was an experience I would never have imagined. I’m using very nice vocabularyReview fromMalinda C

1 starIf I could give ZERO stars I would! They should NOT be allowed to be in business! Late delivering my laundry back. Not even CLEAN! Not completely dry, full of dryer lint and blotches from powder detergent even though I provided my own detergent which did come back, but was untouched. It was a brand new jug. Missing several items, over $200 worth! Plus several things that did come back were ruined! DON'T USE THEM! I TRIED to get it resolved, but lack of care on their part. I did dispute the charges and was issued a credit by my bank, but as far as I'm concerned, they owe me!Review fromAdam C

1 starI had 39 lbs of laundry picked up by the person Sudshare sent to my home. That person stole my clothing and would neither reply to me nor Sudshare. Sudshare wrote that I should file a police report, but that they aren't responsible for the stolen clothing. Also, they have no phone number to talk to anyone and refuse to talk via phone about the issue. Essentially, anyone using their app is trusting a complete stranger to clean their clothing and bring it back, because the company will not reimburse you if your clothing is stolen. Reading other reviews, it seems I'm not the person this happened to. In order to use the app, you have to sign their initial waiver. Most of us automatically sign waivers instead of reading the 20 page document. The waiver essentially says they're not responsible for any loss or damage. Quoted from the terms of service, "SudShare and its affiliates do not guarantee [...] the result of any laundry services [and] Sudshare and its affiliates are not responsible for any delays, delivery failures or other damages, liabilities or losses resulting from such problems." Not only do they not take responsibility, but you can't even take them to court. The terms of service agreement also says, "You and Sudshare mutually agree to resolve any and all covered justiciable disputes between the Parties exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration instead of a court or jury trial." The thing is, that arbitration can cost thousands of dollars. Finally, I paid for $500 of clothing insurance. This will not nearly cover the more than $2000 lost. To add insult to injury, in order to get the $500 I am owed, the are asking me to sign a long release saying things like that I can't "at any time engage in any form of conduct, or encourage others to engage in any form of conduct, or make any statements or representations, whether in writing or orally, that disparage or otherwise impair the reputation, goodwill or commercial interests of Releasee".Review fromPatrick W

1 starThe first few times I used this service it was great. However, the second to last time I used it, the “Sudster” (person doing my laundry) didn’t fold my laundry at all. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice until after I had left them a good tip. They also delivered a bag of my clothes a day later than all the rest. They didn’t even send me a message to tell me they had made a mistake and that they’d deliver it later. This bag of clothes they delivered later was also wet. I didn’t complain or report it to Sudshare because I thought it was a one-time fluke, or maybe this was a new person who was still learning. But then I used Sudshare two weeks later and it was an absolute disaster. The Sudster never returned my laundry when they were supposed to and didn’t bother to communicate with me. I messaged her the next day asking for an update on my laundry and she sent her life story to explain why she was late which was totally unnecessary and unprofessional. My laundry was over 24 hours late. Some of it was damp, and my son ended up having to wear dirty clothes to school one day because of thisReview fromApril G

1 starIn NY (Suffolk county) I ordered 3 bags of laundry to be picked up on a Sunday 1/29/23 and washed for my elderly parents. In the app Armando says he picked up. I have a young lady on the ring camera picking up. And then a day later in the app it says he returned 5 bags at 9:57pm but nothing was ever put back on my doorstep. I’ve been trying to contact and email them for days and they said they would email me back and nothing. Tons of open tickets and no response. There is no evidence of return. No bags left anywhere. I checked my ring camera videos and nothing. They never added any photos of my order. They charged my card and nothing was returned. My parents’ sheets and towels were never returned. They are elderly and need those items. Where are my items? And I can’t get in touch with the person to find out. This service should be out of business. It is extremely upsetting and no customer service to get some resolve. It’s a true scam. STAY AWAY!!!! I use them in Maryland with no problems. So I don’t understand New York SudShare. Stay Away!! Get this company shut down!! I want reimbursement for my items’ cost and the service fee.
