I received a call from a Ashley stating that I owed over $2000 from a payday loan taken out in November of 2014 for $700 dollars. She said the company was Timely Payday Loans. I never took out a loan from this company. The phone number I was called from was XXX-XXX-XXXX and XXX-XXX-XXXX extension ****Initial Complaint

I received a call from a company called Timely payday loans. I talked to Ashley Price and she stated that I owed $597.10 for a payday loan I took out and did not pay for online. I told her I have never heard of this company and asker her to send me the information about the payday loan and she stated that she couldn't and if I didn't pay the amount she was asking for then she would set up a court date and I would have to pay more in court. I didn't do this. Can someone help me resolve this issue. This is the number that called me. 1-517-246-3046. Number to call her back is 1-866-960-4141Initial Complaint

I received a call on July 19th at 1 pm CST from Timely Loans a payday loan company that I have never heard of . The person I spoke with said I owed them 650$ which is not true. I informed her we do not take out payday loans and have not heard of this company and hung up. Looks here to be a company running a scam, the number called from was 1-507-308-9306.Initial Complaint

I just received a phone call from Legal mediation collections saying I took out a loan with Timely payday loans in April of 2019. I didnt take a loan out, never even heard of this company, I've been unemployed since 2014 due to medical problems, so how could i take out a loan. They also said there was a bank account attached to this loan, I haven't had a bank account since 2014!Initial Complaint

So yesterday I received a phone call from a payday company name Timely payday loans saying I owed them a debt I took out in 2019. They told me if I don't pay they will take me to court. Honestly speaking I don't remember so I decided I wanted to pay. I did make a payment arrangement with the person that called me his name was Louis and they called me from number XXX-XXX-XXXX. He told me since I was willing to cooperate the balance was $1252.25 and that I was going to make 8 payments of $150.28. When we were about to finish the payment I told the guy I did not have my card. So, he told me we could do it the next day and that he would call me at 10:30 am. Today I waited for the call and after waiting I decided to call. It turns out no Luis has called me, but another number XXX-XXX-XXXX called me saying the same thing that I have an open account with a timely payday loan company and that I need to pay them the amount of $650 to close the account. I ask the guy that I wanted a formal written paper showing me the original loan name and they told me they could not so he told me okay we will take you to court and hung up. What should I do ?. I don't wanna get into trouble but how do I pay if two different numbers are calling and there are two different amounts?.Initial Complaint

On 3-35-2022 I got a call from a girl named Kim s. saying I owed Timely payday loan 750.00 I told her I never took out a loan through them and I've never heard of them. She said if I did not pay it they would take me to court where the judge could make me pay 4 times the amount and even take my income tax. I've never heard of this company. She was from Solace group **** ********. When I asked for the information who this was for she couldn't tell me. She said it was my loan attached to my name and social security. On 01/24/2022 at 9:34am, 10:28am, and 10:33am I received a call from 833-709-2724 someone claiming to be with a company called Mediation Group, claiming they represent another company called Timely Payday stating I owe $1200 for a payday loan or installment loan in a state I lived previously. He claimed they were willing to settle for $350. When I asked him who the original creditor was he could not give me the information. Person apparently knows my email address phone number and other personal information regarding financial companies I've done business with in the past. With that said he could not give me the name of the original creditor. He stated that he represents a company that collects debt for multiple loan companies. He sent me an email with a statement attached stating I owe Timely Payday $356. It is my right to know the original creditor I have reason to believe that this is a scam. I fell victim to this exact same scam about 6 months ago. I didn't realize until it was over and I got a receipt via email and all they gave me was a reference number for some account number I had with them not the original creditor and they still cannot tell me who the original creditor was. Of course I didn't think of this until after it was over. I also recently learned my data has been breached on several accounts going back to 2019 so I have very good reason to believe that this is a scam artist posing as a collection company and any legitimate company should be able to provide me with the information I request. If I in fact do you owe this money I would be willing to pay it the right way not through some sketchy phone call. I laughed when gentleman on the phone tried a scare tactic with me when I asked for an email stating who the original creditor was. He told me to "hang on let me put you on hold and I will get you a court date to appear in court for this debt". I laughed and told him I know what you're doing and that's definitely not how the legal system works.Initial Complaint

I had been called about a payday loan that I haven't a clue about this loan. A loan company called Timely Payday Loan. I received a call from a lady at a Law firm today saying that this payday loan company is saying that I owe them $700.00. And I can settle It for $400.00 I have docs and all that was sent to me.. and that I would have to go to court If I don't respond and pay. And I have 24hrs to respond to them. I received a voicemail threatening escalation of filing of charges, contacting my HR department on a payday loan that I did not initiate. The individual was rude and when I began to ask questions they hung up. Seems a bit suspicious of fraudulent activity.
