I just received a phone call stating that i have a garnishment against me from Timely Payday for non payment of a loan. I have never received or made any type of payday loans with anyone ever. I am extremely upset that I feel this is fraud and that someone is trying to collect on a debt i never incurred. They stated they sent me 3 letters and that they will garnish my paycheck coming december 24, 2021. Again i have never received any paperwork and i have never taken out any loan especially a payday loan.Initial Complaint

12/13/2021 Recieved a phone call from Robert concerning a payday loan at Timely Payday Loan said I took out a loan for 5,000 and if I did a check over phone they would settle for 500.00. I told him I was not giving them any money and he said that they will send a packet to me and I will have to go toi court.Initial Complaint

Received a phone call today, October 14, 2021 from Financial Asset Recovery, stating that their client Timely Payday had turned over my case to them for legal action. Stating that I had a payday loan with them. Never ever had a payday loan with these people. Said I had to settle with them for $500 or else they would take me to court. I refused to pay them as I don't even know who these people are.Initial Complaint

I got a phone call from a company called **************************** stating Timely Payday Loans deposited $500 in my account back in "April 2019" Just got another phone call today from another company stating they were going to start civil procedures on 10/12 on a loan from Timely Payday for defaulting back on 3/18. I do not have a loan through them and they are illegal in NC.Initial Complaint

This supposed company,has called me repeatedly about a payday loan that was taken out in my name,the thing is the wanted me to Seattle over the phone,I've never had a payday loan,and what gets me is they know my old account number my social security number,my address date of birth,I've even called the bank the allegedly say the money has put into,my bank I had then has more election of any payday loan ever being put in this account and the account was closed and in good standing,so I don't feel it's right that they have my information,then them calling me everyday ,and harassing me thinking I'm going to pay them money over so ethj g they are trying to scampeople on,so this a complaint about them terrozing and trying to get people to give them money when it never happened in the first place,something needs to be done about this,and I'll press charges on them if I need to,but thought I'd let you all know that they have the kahonas to call me and just exspect I'll pay something not goodInitial Complaint

I had been called about a payday loan that I haven't a clue about this loan. A loan company called Timely Payday Loan. I received a call from ************** Law firm today saying that this payday loan company is saying that I owe them $9011.00. And I've never agreed to this. And this supposing happened in 2019 I believe. And Davis& Thompson is saying that I can pay $500.00. I am hoping that I can get help please. Thank you.Initial Complaint

Received a call from an agency number 828-818-1271 stating I was paid over 2k from a previous loan and they would settle for $500. I NEVER took out any loan. What's scary is she knew my social #, diver's license#, and my former address. I told her this was FRAUD cause I never took out a loan in 2019. She said it would be sent to the legal department to order a summons to be sent to my address (which I didn't give the new one) for me to appear in court. I said whatever and she ended with well good luck in court! Someone federally should be investigating this company!Initial Complaint

Calling me saying I owe and complaints against my account. That they are going to file in court. I never took a loan with them!!!! I keep careful track of that stuff!!! Don't want this causing me issues!!!
