     My car was totaled in April 2023, and I purchased GAP insurance for the vehicle when I purchased it in March of 2022. AUL the extended warranty company the dealership was utilizing, gave me a break down and said I would be issued a Gap waiver refund and the adjustment for service contract I’ve financed through the dealership in the amount of $1552.66. I’ve spoken to Patriot Auto and I was referred to the previous owner Mr. Roy *********** because they currently no longer utilize Aul as an extended warranty. Now I’m getting the run around for months after the claim was settled and thats the only 2 things left to be issued to me. Never again

    I purchased my car in October of 2023. On the second day of purchase, the key coolant indicator came on.  The car shook as I drove, and I immediately pulled over and called Patriot. I explained that this issue was already on the car when I purchased it.  There were no mechanics, so they sent me to their collaborating maintenance at Mitsubishi. I drove my car nervously to get there, only to have to wait three hours for them to tell me everything was fine. A month later, the same issue arose, and I called the dealer again to explain and advise of an audio issue with the radio. I brought the car back a second time. During this visit, I was told they fixed everything and I would no longer have the issue. The following month, the indicator came on briefly, and at that moment, I decided to call Patriot Autos, as it no longer made sense to contact the mechanic if they were not fixing it. I called and spoke with Mr. Earl and Mr. Bobby, who explained to me that I may be responsible, but as I explained to Earl, who sold me the vehicle, he was aware of the issue and my attempts to have it fixed. The car had this issue before I purchased it.  I should not be responsible for a mechanical issue that was present on the car before purchase. I then made several attempts to get it fixed.  The unprofessional way I have been treated post-purchase is unexecusable. I have called back three times, all for Mr. Bobby to assure me they are talking to the owner and will get back to me. That was on 5.4.24. It is now 5.19.24, and there are still no responses from the owner or anyone else.  My car should still be in warranty, as my copy reads 6 months or 60000 miles past purchase. I am paying a high-interest rate on top of a high payment. I will, at the end of this purchase, pay for two cars with interest and a finance charge. So all I am asking is for my key coolant to be repaired by a licensed mechanic who knows what they are doing. Patriot is a horrible company once they sell cars.
