      I attended a "concert" Captial Jazz Fest 2022 it ususall last 3 days. The saturday event was purchased for me as a Mother's day present from my son. I have been attending this festival for 19 years. This was the first time I was seated in the VIP section (I had a total knee replacement March of 2022, so I was not really capable of walking all the hills at the location of this fest). My son knew I enjoy going to this fest each year and suprised me with these tickets for my best friend and I to be seated 3 row back dead center of the concert. PERFECT seats except I could not hear the artist. I complained to the personnel working there and they said they would informed someone. Well it continued to get worse until I moved back to the lawn area where I watched from the monitors. I was extremely disappointed. I contacted the Captial Jazz Fest by email and phone Tuesday morning following the concert, only to speak with Betty whom was NOT very helpful at all. She stated she would talk to management and upon her return call she said there was nothing they could do, that I should have informed them at the time of the problem. I explained to her I informed the people I saw wearing the blue shirts, she informed me that they did not work for her company but for the pavilion. I ask Betty if I had ever met her, she said no, so my question then how would I know who worked for who? Any reasonable person would approach the person in a uniform claiming to work at the facility. I am only asking to be compensated for something. 575.00 is a lot of money to me to just let go to waste. So I called again today unfortunately I spoke with Betty again, whom stated I took care of this matter and said there is nothing we can do. I don't believe that to be fair or just.

      Capital Jazz Super Cruise 14th Annual failed to return $5475.64 after super cruise on ***** ********** cancelled in January 2022 due to Covid. Refund in 90 days was promised at the end of January 2022. Numerous phone calls and emails have not received refund. Ch 7 contacted. Class action initiated (I was not a part).

      I was schedule to go to Capital Jazz Super Cruise in January 2021. It was cancelled due to Covid. I rescheduled for January 2022, that to was cancelled due to Covid. I elected to get a refund instead of going January 2023. I was told I would receive my refund by May 2022. It is now January of 2023 and I have not received a refund. When I call to check on the refund, I was told it's a slow process and to be patience. For the last 4 months I can't get anyone on the phone. I get a recording. I left my phone number, emailed and still no response, This was close to $3000 each for me and my roommate. I don't know what to do. They shouldn't be able to keep my money when I didn't attend the cruise. My roommate (******* *****) and I would appreciate any assistance from you.

      My family and I were scheduled to take the Capital Jazz Supercruise last year. It was cancelled due to the CDC restriction on sailing. We were given the option to request a refund or move our cruise to the following year. My family opted for the refund. We were told that our refund was to be expected by May 2022. We've yet to receive said refund. All attempts to inquire about refund are met with either lies, disregard, our radio silence. All of which are not acceptable. All employees give the impression that ownership knows they owe people their refund, but they are ignoring requests for updates or express refunds. I have been diligent about contacting and emailing regularly. I'm at the end of my rope as it has been a year almost to the day that we are promised said refund. Any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciate. Thank you!

      Me and my friend have been waiting for our reimbursement for a cancellation of a cruise that should have sailed jan 2022. Capital JazZ canceled and gave us an option of booking for future sailing or money back, we chose money back. Several people we know have received their refund, but we have not. Capital Jazz is still in business and they even have a sailing going out this month. They no longer return our call or emails, please help.

      I contracted with Capital jazzfest to attend the 2022 Capital Jazz Supercruise XIV. The cruise was cancelled and I was contacted save promised a refund. To date no funds had been received.

      I booked a cruise for me and my husband *************************** on Capital Jazz Super cruise that was originally scheduled to sail in Jan.16-24' 2021. However due to the Covid restrictions this cruise was cancelled and Capital Jazz gave us the option to roll our monies over to cruise with them the following year or obtain a refund, we elected to roll our monies over and go on the cruise the following yr. Which was Jan *****, 2022. However Capital Jazz cancelled this cruise 1 week prior to departure leaving me stuck with non refundable plane tickets. Capital Jazz gave us the option again to roll over our monies to another cruise or obtain a refund,I elected to obtain a full refund of ******** On Jan.25,2022 they sent me an email stating it will take 90 days and they will also take 3% out for a processing fee.I waited until Apr.30,2022 and e mailed Capital Jazz insuring about my refund, they responded that please be patience and they are sending refunds out. I tried phoning Capital Jazz to only get an answering machine ,I've left several messages and no one will call back. I emailed them Jun 20, Sep 1, Sep 20,Sep 30, Dec,17 of 2022. Capital Jazz would respond back with the same general e mail for me to be patient., and they only respond to me after I send them an e mail they have never sent emails out prior giving you a date to expect your refund. However the majority of the peo. We were traveling went received their refunds in June 2022.They say they have been in business over 20 yrs. but this type of business practice should not be allowed this is unethical, unprofessional and should be illegal.I am asking for your assistance my reservation # is ******* the email I have for Capital Jazz is ******************************** ,mailing address is Capital Jazz Cruise ***************************** **. ***** the # is ************.       I booked a cruise for me and my husband on Capital Jazz. The Super Cruise was originally scheduled to sail in January of 2021. However, due to COVID restrictions, we rolled over the funds to sail on the cruise for January 14-22, 2022. The cruise for January 2022 was cancelled one week prior to departure, on January 7. I received an email with the option to roll over the funds for another cruise or obtain a refund. I elected to receive the refund due to the very poor communication from Capital Jazz coupled with cancelling the cruise on short notice. I paid for my cruise in full on July 24, 2019. Capital Jazz sent an email on January 25, 2022 indicating that I could expect a refund within 90 days minus a processing fee. I emailed Capital Jazz on April 27, 2022 inquiring about the status of the refund. They responded with a general formatted email not responding to my actual inquiry, but rather indicating that the refunds were being processed. I again emailed Capital Jazz on June 23, 2022 inquiring about the status of my refund, and received the same generally formatted email. I have called Capital Jazz countless times, a least weekly since July of 2022 and have left messages as no one answers the phone. None of my messages have been returned, despite the voicemail indicating that all calls would be returned. I sent another email on December 15, 2022 and again received the exact same response. The majority of people traveling in our group have received refunds except for a fewer number of us that I am aware of. Capital Jazz owes me in excess of $4000.00 and I have tried contacting them directly on numerous occasions to no avail. I am attaching a copy of my invoice, copies of the emails that i have sent, confirmation of my reservation, and my travel insurance.

      I paid for reservation #XXXXXXX in the amount of $2,810.00 on the Super Cruise XIV. The cruise was cancelled by the company because of CDC guidelines on COVID-19. I submitted a cancellation form which was confirmed by the company on 6/2/22. I have attempted to call and send email with no results. To this date, I have not received by refund.

      I booked a trip with Capital Jazz. They collected my money for a Royal Caribbean cruise that was to begin on 1/14/2022. Days before the sail date, Capital Jazz SuperCruise canceled the trip via email. I received another email on 1/24/2022 with three options to choose from for a refund since they canceled the trip. (1) transfer option; (2) credit option; or (3) receive a refund for the amount paid for 2022, less a 3% deduction for any credit card payments made. They asked for 90 days to process our refund. On 1/24/2022 I replied choosing option (3). I have called and left messages for the past 6 months and Capital Jazz has not made an attempt to return any calls or send a refund for the amount I paid $4,420.00.
