      This Scam is well set up. I googled Salvage Auto Salvage. I found a site that that Directed you to many different Dealers. I received offers via email from many different companies. I work with this group called Performance Auto Salvage . Out of Illinois. They didn't take Credit Cards and convinced me they where legitimate. I even called their Bank and the bank confirmed they had an account to was long term. I was such a fool to do this. After sending $1100 with a promise of the Part being sent right away, I called day in and day out for 3 weeks. They changed their story every day. Sent me to 5 to 10 people with different stories. Not once did they tell one ounce of truth. They Never sent part, Said they would refund me, Never did, and the rest is Scammer Vitim History. I'm out $1100 Performance Auto Salvage Back account # ********* routing #71000013 JPMCHASE illinois. Address they gave me is a House when I looked it up. ***** ****** *r Plainfield IL 60585 ***********  One of Many Numbers. [email protected] They tell you the Bosco is the Warehouse Manager and turns out to be the Best English Speaker of the group to convince you and keep the scam going. Dona is the Accounts Rep. Peter ***** is the So called Manager. They will tell you lie after lie after lie. Without breaking script.

      I called and asked if they had a catalytic converter for a 2004 Mazda rx8 6speed.10/25/23 .They said they did and would need payment before shipment.1 paid 330.00 with ***** . in which they received before after about two weeks i asked about the picture of the converter before shipment ..i got the pictures after the wrong part was delivered. I have called and e-mailed several times to no response.. the Email address two of there employee gave me were wrong twice even after three times confirming the correct information on and off for the last 2 months they said i would get a refund.my bank has confirmed they got there money and were told the bank i had received the right part which was not true i had pictures of the wrong part .they sent a engine header not a Catalytic Converter i even called the company that sent me the wrong part and he said they gave him the wrong information my bank also has the tracking number of the returned part at my expense! Mike Allen is the person i keep trying to get in contact with and get several other people instead there understanding of the English language seems a little off because i need to ask several times to repeat what they are trying to pronounce .there number is *********8 you get several run around from every department you finally get a answer or someone to answer.

      I searched for a used part for my vehicle and was contacted by performance auto parts, aka aoneautoparts. I asked for a payment link after all info was exchanged and submitted my order. I was given a ten business day promise for delivery. I was told that I would recieve a shipment tracking number via email. I called constantly over the course of the next week to get the tracking info only to be told that “it will be shipped tomorrow every time” I have since been unable to reach the company by phone or email to discuss my shipment. The won’t return my emails or voicemails and I’m sure there is no shipment coming.

      was searching for an automatic transmission for my **** Saturn online on 9/15/2023. I received a text from ********************* at Performance Auto Parts telling me he had a great deal for me. I called him, he gave me the details and said the transmission would be shipped immediately and be delivered to my shop doing the work in a few days. On 9/18/2023, I verbally accepted his offer and he connected me with ********************* to make payment. (Both guys had Indian accents). ***** told me they don't accept credit cards and to wire him the money $575.00 + tax totaling $612.00. I told him I don't want to pay a wire transfer fee. He said no problem and reduced the price from $612.00 total to $550.00 total (he removed $25.00 to cover the wire transfer fee and the tax too). He told me he would send me a receipt and tracking number the next day. He told me to wire the money to a ********** account with the account name "**********************". On 9/18/2023 I wired the money. I went on the BBB.org website and Yelp and discovered these guys are scammers. Everything is fake including the address. They troll the internet targeting people searching for auto parts. They claim they have the part and steal your money with no intention shipping anything. I immediately reported this suspected wire fraud incident to my bank on 9/18/2023. He did not send me a receipt with a tracking number. I call ***** and he told me he would send it in 2 weeks when the transmission ships. I told him that wasn't the deal, I can't wait 2 weeks, and I canceled the order. After a heated argument he agreed to mail me a refund the next day. I called him in 2 days to ask if he had mailed the refund check and he laughed at me and told me I was out of my mind and hung up on me. They use several different business names to describe themselves. The recently changed their name from "Performance Auto Parts" to "Performance Auto Salvage" and changed their address as well! These criminals have to be stopped!

      I was harassed by an employee on 5/24/2023. The initial call came in at 10:58am and lasted 1 minute, after i had made an online car part request. I said "never mind" and hung up after the employee kept asking the same question. I got a call back immediately and said "don't call me again". Another immediate call where I was subjected to curses and sexual threats to members of my family. two more calls seconds apart until I blocked ###-###-####. I believe this employee should be terminated.

      11/13/2022 $880 Ordered 2 doors for my car by phone and they got my phone from car part search web site. Nothing ever shipped. They got my credit card over the phone and charged it. Called them and they said they will process the calcellation - never got a refund back on my card. Filed a dispute with the bank.

      I ordered and paid for a truck bed from performance auto in November. After never receiving a tracking number, I called several times to inquire about the part. They continued to say week after week it will be shipped. In January after still not having recieved a tracking number or the part,I called and cancelled the order. 2 weeks later I have not gotten the money back orvthe part. They also double charged me from The get go. Bad business and the customer service is horrible, they kept calling me Jack and John duh. Just give me my money back

      I paid for the part on 06/16/21 was told that the part was grade A , And at best it was a C grade. I was told that the part was coming from Fla. When actually it came from Minn. The picture they sent me wasn't the same as what they sent. I talk to the salesman that performance auto purchased the door from . He told me that they explain the damages to the door to them and they said it was good to go ahead and send. My door on my truck that I'm replacing is 100* better than the one that they sent as a replacement grade A Part. since dealing with them , I've been getting the run around. They tell me that they will get back to me in 24 hrs. and 3 days latter I would have to call back because they haven't contacted yet. Always the same " I'll have to check on it." Never an answer. I paid total $630.00 for door and $60.00 for shipping total of $690.00 that I would like to be reimburse being the is useless to me. Thank you for your help.
