Company sold me a truck that they knew the warranty had just recently went out on with a bad compressor I am in Nashville tn and had the truck shipped. When the truck arrived i tried using the air which would not work at all. Upon me calling Krietz the very next day they told me to take the truck to a dealer to see why it’s not working of which costed me 232 dollars for a diagnostic test of which it was clear it needed a compressor. Before I took the truck I took pictures of the engine being that I found it weird that there was purple die on the compressor hoses already so I figure someone had to know this was not working. Krietz claims the truck underwent quality and control before being shipped but I doubt that considering they had been working on the ax prior to sending the truck to me the whole process was sketchy even then dragging there feet to get me my truck after it had already been paid for. Krietz called me today and told me that none of my warranty’s covered this matter and that I would have to pay $2300 dollars to have this fixed myself as they did qc on the truck and it was working fine when it left so they say but if that were the case wouldn’t they have made me sign a as is document? I dished a paper that had warrant checked on it they responded with it’s for the aftermarket parts and it’s not covered. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE as they practice business tactics to beat people on truck they just put a lift and wheels on granted this is a 2021 ford f150 platinum with 37000 miles on it it was very strategically sold so that no one would notice. I bought the truck on sept30 2023 the day after I purchased (not received) the truck they tried to tell me they had already scheduled delivery but they did not talk to me about anything like that so they were trying there best to keep it away from me but I had to let them know that my driver was already otw and that they were trying to drag there feet which made them get everything done but now this.

Customer purchased a used vehicle that has mileage outside of factory warranty. Customer was given the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty that would cover issues, such as an AC Compressor going out. Three quality control checks were performed on the vehicle and the HVAC system to ensure that it was in working condition upon the sale of the truck. As a result, Krietz Auto is not responsible for the issue the customer experienced after the vehicle was delivered. Customer was instructed to see what was wrong with his vehicle since he said that he tried to charge his AC but could not get it to work. Since the customer did not purchase an extended warranty through our company, it was the decision of Krietz Auto to not pay for the service of replacing the AC compressor. After engaging the customer to bring reconciliation from the issue, Krietz Auto agreed to pay for a replacement AC compressor part contingent upon the customer taking down the one star review, paying for the labor on his own, and scheduling the work to be done. Until the customer takes down the review, Krietz Auto will not purchase any parts for this vehicle. Customer was made aware of this and agreed to these terms.

The past couple of weeks I had been in the process of purchasing a truck from Krietz. While having one truck pending for purchase (purchase documentationI had sold my vehicle in order to purchase this current vehicle. Three days later after contacting the rep daily and rep not responding to either my text or calls. I get a text they sold my vehicle. I speak to Wes to see if he can resolve the matter. He responds no worries we can fix this. I find a vehicle less then the one they had waiting and he mentions I have to now put 4,500 down. When the original agreement was 1,000 down and tax exempt being that I'm military on orders. His response was the lender changes for every inquiry to a vehicle. So, on top of losing the vehicle I had on hold, selling my vehicle, and three hard inquiries to my credit Im now stuck without a vehicle and baffled at how the management team handle this situation and refuse to acknowledge they were in the wrong. I have all documentation and text to prove everything that was said and or occurred throughout this process. They should be ethical and moral and do the right thing and not continue to treat their customers this way.

Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2022/09/10) */ ****** ****** reached out to Krietz Auto via phone on July 19th, 2022 in regards to purchasing a 2019 Ford F-150 XLT. She visited the dealership in person on July 21, 2022 and looked at both a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado and the 2019 Ford F-150 she initially called about. After her visit, she was texting about pricing for each of these vehicles and trading in her vehicle, which is a 2015 GMC Acadia SLT 2 BLK/BLK leather with 125,000 miles. The pricing was sent to ****** via text message on July 23, 2022. When she reviewed the pricing, ****** questioned the taxes as she stated she is active duty military and has never paid sales tax on a vehicle. The zip code she provided for her price quote was XXXXX, which is for Land O'Lakes, FL. We answered all general questions she had and provided the link to our credit application for her to pursue purchasing on July 23rd, 2022 via text message. We reached out to ****** on July 26, 2022 after not receiving the completed credit application. She requested we call her, which we did, but ****** did not answer and we left a voicemail. In fact, we made three attempts to Call ****** on July 26, 2022 and left voicemails each time. After that, we had not heard from ****** until July 29, 2022 when she sent us a stock number to another F-150 via text message and asked for $6,482 off the list price. We let her know via text message we wouldn't be able to sell her that vehicle for the reduction in price she requested and let her know about other vehicles we had available in the price range she was requesting, but was not interested in any of the vehicles we suggested to her in her price range. ****** let us know at this time that she was pre approved for $53,500 from her own credit union, Navy Federal and suggested more truck options that would fit this approval amount. We asked if she would be able to put any money down to get the truck she wanted since it was above her approval amount, but she said that she could not put any money down. ****** Auto had no contact or communication with ****** until August 18th, 2022 where she submitted an online inquiry through our company's website. We sent her the link to our credit application on August 19, 2022. Over the next few days, she was texting with our chat bot software about perhaps using the dealership financing and extended out for a longer term to keep her payments within $800 to $850 per month. She again mentioned tax exemption for her home of record. She let us know that she completed the credit application as a "joint application" and that she had sold her old vehicle to carmax for $14,500. She also sent a screen shot to the chat bot of the vehicle she was interested in on August 21st, 2022. On August 22, 2022 one of our live representatives took back over the text communication and let ****** know we received her credit application and requested a copy of her Driver's License, which is our protocol to collect when running an application for credit. We also let her know that the truck she had mentioned to the chat bot the day prior had sold. She then picked out another F-150 on August 23rd, 2022. A sales representative let her know to run the credit application we needed her drivers license and her co-applicants drivers license which she provided the same day. On August 23rd, 2022 at 3:41pm a sales representative sent her a document via text message with the approval we had through Capital One on the Ford F-150 showing in the documentation was a $14,000 down payment and a 75 month term at 9.96% and they required proof of income to proceed with this approval. When we asked her if she was putting the money down from the vehicle she sold to CarMax she let us know that she wouldn't be because she needed to pay off that loan. Her follow up response stated she wanted 84 months and that she does not pay vehicle sales tax as she is an active duty military member. In response, the sales representative let her know we could not secure longer financing terms other than the 75months. On August 24th, ****** texted in asking for an update on the vehicle purchase where the sales representative responded letting her know if the taxes are removed from the purchase, the $14,000 down payment, interest rate, and term would remain the same. The sales representative asked ****** if she could call in to speak over the phone on August 24th and she called in and spoke with Krietz Auto's sales manager Wes who further explained the $14,000 down payment and why Capital One was not offering her the 84 month term. She referred back to a conversation she had with an internet representative who let her know we do offer 84 month term financing with our lenders but did not understand the bank did not qualify her for these terms. On August 26th, she asked for Capital One's approval and stated a mortgage would be dropping off her credit and so would an auto loan and that Capital One needs to take into consideration her liquid assets. Capital One as a lender looks at the current credit report at the time the application is submitted and at the time her mortgage and auto loan were currently listed. ****** Auto unfortunately does not have the power over Capital One to make them take these circumstances into consideration as their approval system is bases on ratios and algorithms. On August 26th, ****** let us know she spoke with Capital One and they told her to have us request 84 months on her behalf. We did so on August 26th, and the request was denied with Capital One. Ms. ****** then stated she would contact them herself again and let us know Capital One told her Krietz Auto as a dealership needs to request 84 months on her behalf. Krietz Auto does not know who she spoke to at Capital One but our approval terms for her to request 84 month was denied as shown in Exhibit A. Exhibit A shows that Capital One max term for ****** ****** is 75 months. ****** then stated we never sent her the breakdown of the purchase but it was sent via text message to her on August 23rd. Text message convo continued through On August 25th, 2022 the vehicle Krietz Auto had Ms. ****** approved on with Capital One for sold to another customer. She continued to text in on August 26th where we continued to let her know we could not adjust the approval from Capital One to get the 84 months she desired. We also let her know she could still proceed to purchase the truck with her own financing since our approval was not agreeable to her terms. On August 27th-August 29th ****** asked for the vehicle breakdown we had sent her on August 23rd. We let ****** know on August 29, 2022 that the vehicle she had been approved on was now sold. On August 30th, she supplied the proof of income to proceed with the purchase that Krietz Auto had originally told her about on August 23rd. On August 30th, she supplied her and her co-signers leave and earnings statement as proof of income and the Sales Manager asked for ******'s military orders for the tax exemption through Florida she was requesting. Ms. ****** was looking to register the vehicle in Florida which is her state of record with the military. In order to prove tax exemption our Sales Manager told Ms. ****** we needed her LES and Military Orders in order to send into the state of Florida to verify she is in fact tax exempt. She was unwilling to provide us with the proper documentation that was needed. She also stated to us her co-signer would be taking the vehicle back to Florida the following month which under Florida guidelines disqualifies vehicle tax exemption if the vehicle is located in Florida which she stated it would be. Krietz Auto Sales Manager let her know we would indeed have to collect her taxes. ****** stated via text message that if she is miliary than she is tax exempt and the sales manager sent her Exhibit B attachment which is a Florida Affidavit which clearly states, "I will not bring the vehicle/vessel into the state of Florida within 6 months from the date of purchase, even for temporary reasons." Ms. ****** reached out to us on September 1st asking if we had another truck that matched the vehicle she had been approved on. We responded via text message that we did not have another match. Ms. ****** reached out to us via text on September 2nd saying she had found a similar vehicle but it was missing a few features. Krietz Autos Sales manager updated the Capital One approval with the newly picked out vehicle and texted Ms. ****** the approval showing a $4,350 deposit for 75 months at 11.99%. Ms. ****** texted back asking why she needed to put $4,350 as a deposit on the vehicle when the other approval on the truck that had sold was only $1,000. We had texted and communicated with ****** the approval for the other truck was $14,000 not $1,000. Again, Capital One uses a computer system for the auto loan approvals and each vehicle changes the computer algorithm on rate and down payment based on the year of the vehicle and the vehicle's J.D. Power Values. Ms. ****** ****** was not satisfied with this explanation to her. We did not hear from Ms. ****** after September 2nd, 2022.
