I was charged over $600 for the tech to simply replace a kitchen faucet, which I had already bought and had all the parts for, so that price was just for labor. The tech was here for less than an hour and it was a simple installation, so $600 seems very high to me. The invoice had no details of what went into that charge, it just says "install customer provided faucet and remove existing faucet."To add insult to injury, the tech also said I had a leak under my sink and that me garbage disposal needed to be replaced- which would be an additional $800. Thankfully, I got a second opinion from another plumber and he found no leak and said my garbage disposal was fine and did not need to be replaced.I have tried calling customer service numerous times and have received no response. I would not recommend GAC Services to anyone and I will never use them again!

The **************** and ******************** are horrible. The one person i did talk with was great, but everyone else was horrible and the business practices are questionable. I called to have a gas leak investigated and had a tech come out. They told me they did find a leak and would need to replace a gas valve. I then spoke with dispatch and said seems like both the part and labor would be covered, however the tech would need to verify before doing work. No discussion with the tech or anyone in the company provided a quote stating the work isn't covered. The tech did the work, called me and said, the work is done and now need to collect the money. I stated it was to be covered under labor warranty, they said no its not, after they did the work. I spoke with the Original Dispatch person and said, yes it did seem to be covered, but the tech would have to verify. I reported that i received zero call, quote, or anything on the work to be done before agreeing to have it replaced other than it was covered. The dispatch person is working with me to correct the issue, however, be aware of the poor communication and scammy practices. In addition, it was 600+ dollars for one person to replace the part in 45 minutes. They don't charge hourly, they charge "industry" pricing per task regardless of how long it takes. Stay far far far away from this company.

Needed a new kitchen faucet because the old one was poorly designed and constantly leaked/ dropped. Had to tighten the cold handle constantly. Broke down and paid $1300 for a new kitchen faucet. I picked a different designed faucet this time, the price of the part was $800, much more than the old faucet, but so far well worth the price. Bought a single handle faucet instead of the old fashioned 2 hot and cold handles. Works wonderfully, and has a lifetime warranty for it. Company will send a new part in the mail for free if anything breaks, which I doubt will happen since the design of this faucet is much better than the old one. Very happy with it. Technician was quick and friendly, professional. No issues, and he finished the installation faster than expected. Didn't complain when I told him our basement is infested with fleas when needing to go down to it to turn the water off/ on! I went down the next time when time to turn the water back on. Very happy with our new faucet, no issues with GAC, their plumber was great. Ty ****

The three year old furnace they recommended and installed had a circuit board that fried over Thanksgiving break while I was away. It took until Monday to get a service technician there and he ordered the wrong part! They came to install it and said they would reschedule on Saturday. I called on Saturday and found out they were closed until Monday. Two cold weeks and my furnace still isn’t repaired! Plus I paid in advance! UPDATE: They replaced the control board three times and it continued to fail. I also have had 1/4" of water in the basement during the last few months. The most recent HVAC technician says that this water is causing the control board to short out and says it is no longer covered by the warranty - $1500!! He says it will take another two weeks to order the parts,. I am having two sump pumps and a French drain installed and the technician says that if I don't wait the two weeks that it will take for them to do the foundation repair, the furnace will just need to be repaired again anyway. Even if I have had a small amount of water (1/4"") in the basement, that shouldn't stop my furnace from working unless they installed it on the ground. The latest repairs are $1500 and climbing. It's almost cheaper to get a new HVAC system installed. ONE THING'S FOR SURE, IF I GET A NEW SYSTEM INSTALLED AFTER ONLY THREE YEARS, IT WON'T BE WITH GAC EVER AGAIN!!

I have used them before and it took 2 techs to fix AC problem. The young guy didn't know anything so the older fixed the problem. Problem now is I called about cleaning the furnace not a through clean but dust and cobwebs out. They had a promotion for season clean and tune up a cost of $129. The guy came asked me what I wanted told him his comment was that would be between $800 and $1200. Told him what the office said and he said they do not know the pricing. So I said want the $129 service I was quoted. He began to badger me to death about getting a new system. They had specials and on and on that I needed a new system. He was doing something where the unit was and then came out and started again about getting a new unit. I said no and I guess he thought I was alone and up in age (77) he was going to badger me to death but my daughter was upstairs and when she came down he was startled. Then he said he was finished and found out all he did was take a rag and wipe the outside of unit never looked at filter and charged me $129. I called after he left and complained they said someone would call that was 3 days ago called today same thing no call back. I want my money back I could of taken a rag and did what he did for nothing. I will continue to call till I have some compensation. I didn't want to complain but think people should watch out especially if you are up in age. If my daughter hadn't been here I think he would of badgered me more always have someone in the house when these people show up

I feel that I was taken advantage of by having GAC come out to try and solve a noise problem with one of my AC units! I was told that I'd have to replace over $2000 worth of equipment. Got 2nd opinion and realized that NOTHING needed to be replaced! What a bunch of THIEVES!

Rip off. Told me my condensate pump needed replacing and it would cost $1053 but they would give me a $252 discount bringing the price down to $801. Ultimately i found out the condensate pump probably was fine- there was a kink in the line for the output hose. But a condensate pump of the exact model I had costs $64 and change. It's a plug in model. It takes less than 5 mins to install. I did it myself, before discovering the problem was a kink in the line. Simple to do. I emailed asking them to refund the $114 service call fee since I didn't think they diagnosed the problem correctly and were trying to rip me off. They didn't reply.

Our experience with GAC Services has been a complete nightmare. We signed a contract for them to replace our air conditioning system, and after nearly two weeks, they have not been able to successfully complete the installation. Their field engineers are unknowledgeable in the key areas needed to complete the effort - particularly on the wiring side. They have sent numerous technicians over, and the end result is that the thermostat will not turn the system off, and so the A/C system is operating around the clock running the new unit into the ground and our electric bill through the roof. They told us that they cannot send a technician over for nearly two weeks as the technician is on vacation. They also told us they would stay as long as it took to fix the problem, then left never to return. We put in an urgent/emergency call days ago, and they have not called back. To top it off, they charged our credit card without our authorization prior to the completion of the work which is in direct violation of the contract we signed with them. We are elderly, and their initial installation team refused to wear masks which is stated in their policy. Untrustworthy is an understatement. Under no circumstances would we ever recommend GAC services to anyone!
