      Services were ordered in April of 2023. Internet service was initiated and immediately underperformed from what was stated by the company. The internet reset often, did not work even during mildly cloudy weather, and was much slower than what was promised by Hughes Net when the service was procured. We contacted Hughes Net and they upgraded our package and had one service technician come to the house. The service continued to not meet expectations and we were told they would not be able to fix until over a week of storms had passed. This was unacceptable as we work from home and rely on dependable internet. We went over 60 days without reliable internet and were continuously charged. No Hughes Net representation contacted us the entire time we went through this.We then found another provider that could meet our expectations and installed the service. At this time, we contacted Hughes Net and multiple times, they attempted to sell us more things instead of re-fund us for the major issues we had experienced. Hughes Net now states that due to our contract, we must pay >$350 to be relinquished from our contractual obligations.At this time, we simply are looking to terminate our contract without incurring additional fees due to the lack of service and communication from the company.

      Been going through this for several years and now months. First of all my deceased wife of over 4 years still remained holder of the account at our home after she passed and I even had to start the service over. Now over 4 years later she still was the account holder so I asked why am I paying it?? Maybe you need to refund me all my money since shes passed!!! Now I have a new issue. My stepdaughter has moved down the road from me. She wasnt established when she needed service. I paid for her deposit and they said that would be fine. So here we are in July and she started her service in sept of last year and Im the primary holder of her account. Several times they said accounts had to be paid in full in order to fix the name. Someone says the account t needed to be cancelled. Another says they can remove his name. Etc etc. a new story every phone call. **** spent hours upon hours on the phone trying to fix this. Myself and my daughter missing work since we had to be together For verifications. My new wife even spent many hours trying to fix this. We get either disconnected or hung up on or no answers that they do t have the ability to fix it. So we get sent to account management. Weve even spoke to an accounts manager. When we called back after speaking g with the manager we were told hes from another state and laws will vary. Ok so why did I waste my time? Why am I co. Texted to him then? I do t have a choice! These are the people your company hired and I have to deal with liars and incompetent people. I dont like to use those words but weve been lied to over and over and given a different story each phone call. Were not asking for much. All we Want is my name to be taken off her account and the ********************** to get it together. Ive been a Hughes net customer for a long time now and Im starting to regret to stay with the company. I can go on and on but if you look at the notes between the two accounts youllunderstand the frustration!
