I was contacted by Braden Conn of the Aerotek office of Maumee, Oh in November or December of 2021. He asked if I would be interested in the position of CAD Drafter for a company called Zin in Cleveland, OH. I was to be employed directly by Aerotek. I expressed my interest, interviewed with the manager at Zin and was offered the job which was to pay $35/hr. I accepted the job, completed the onboarding and drug screen. I advised Braden that I needed a laptop and told him I was prepared to buy one. He said Aerotek was going to send one so I did not buy a laptop. The laptop never arrived. Braden eventually called me and said I was no longer needed for the job.Business response

Hi there, I wanted to file a complaint against Aerotek Recruitment Agency in regards to them failing to pay myself, a former employee, their due compensation, and for attempting to place blame upon myself and my bank for the issues. I did not work for this company long, I was hired by them to work as a ************* Warehouse Worker working 21.5 hours between the dates of Nov 8th-10th before I found a new career in my desired career path. I was informed by Aerotek that my final paycheque would be received by Wednesday, Nov 17 for my 21.5 hours of work, but by Friday Nov 19, I have received nothing. Thus has begun an irritating and frustrating process of Aerotek blaming me for failing to give proper direct deposit info, which was a lie, claimed my bank account was frozen, a lie, then claimed that they had already paid me and that my bank, CIBC, was withholding from me, which has also been proven to be a lie. As of now, I am forced to wait til Monday Nov 22 to get an answer from Corporate over where my due compensation, of which I fully expect them to tell me that since their payroll department continues to claim they have paid me, they'll refuse to do anything to help me. I find this extremely, extremely disconcerting and frustrating that the company continues to place blame upon me while actively committing theft of my due compensation, and I would like this resolved as soon as possible, and for the world to know that this company is not good, and will absolutely attempt to rob you of your hard work and time for their own benefit, while gaslighting and blaming you for it the entire way. I worked out of town on a job for this staffing company from Oct. 12 - Oct. 14, 2021. I was told that I was going to receive my pay on the following Wed. Oct. 20. I submitted the hours worked and per diem and hotel information on Sunday, Oct. 17 for pay on Oct. 20. I drove 2 1/2 hours to the job site on Monday, Oct 18 to be told that the job was only a one week job, the contact person at Aerotek did not tell me this information. We called and called and called and texted with no response. I drove home and waited for a call with a new assignment but nothing has been set up. The contact person told me that they were in Mexico and to call the Payroll Dept. I left a voicemail with no return call on Tuesday, Oct. 19. I was supposed to get paid on Oct. 20 but nothing. I called on Oct. 20 and Oct. 21 at 8:50 am but the office phone system said they are closed. I just want my pay for the week that I worked. NEVER use this company.Business response

When I began this contract on March 23 I was exposed to Covid, and had a death in my family because of Covid which caused me to miss some time from work. I was told by management of BWMC and The staffing company that I was OK to take a couple days off and return to work. Upon me returning to work I began to receive nasty looks and negative comments from the temporary manager at BWMC, I reached out to a Aerotek supervisor about the issue but nothing was done. After this I kept asking when my contract would be over because I felt uncomfortable at the contract site but the recruiter did nothing to help I would have to call numerous times, they didn't help finding me another contract even after I told him about the harassment so I contacted hr at the contract site. Was continuously being harassed by managers in office. The next week at work my job was threatened by a manager in front of patients and coworkers which is immorally unethical & I was embarrassed. I have been on a job assignment with Aerotek for month. I have yet to receive a check. At first they told me it was my bank. I changed banks and I still haven't received and compensation. I am owed a months worth of wages. I talked to Bryan who is my contact person and he tells me he will take care of it but it has still not been taking care of. I just want what I'd owed to me without being penalized.Business response

I worked at Electrolux for a month and was only paid $40. I spoke with my building contact Brian about not being paid weekly and was told it would be taken care of. I am a new hire for ************* and I was recruited on by Aerotek, I have been working for almost 2 weeks now and I still haven't been paid for it. I set up direct deposit during the on boarding process but apparently I have to wait two weeks for it. I received the pay stub document and it says on the bottom that it would go to my direct deposit, but they told me paper check otherwise. I was supposed to receive my check by Wednesday but apparently because of "Labor Day" I would receive by today (Saturday) , I haven't received it. I contacted my recruiter and he said he would look into it. It is quite upsetting because I am struggling financially at the moment and I won't be able to make it to work due to it.Business response
