At first, I thought this LPS company is really great because they never fail to call & text me to remind me of my forthcoming schedules as they were all very prompt and enthusiastic, and the power point presentation for the keloid removal by Kelly was great & promising. However, the distrust started when, after paying the deposit of $1,000 to Kelly on October 18 (same day consultation day), I was told that I must pay the balance of $1,500.00 on November 18 (surgery scheduled on December 3). But Felicia, the manager, was already calling me on November 2 asking for my balance to be paid ASAP. I told her I was told to pay on November 18 but she said that that was a miscommunication, "it must be paid today." So I told her that I have not activated my CareCredit card yet but she said to "not worry because they can get the money even without me activating the credit card, since they have the info they need." Meanwhile, I got this very timely phone call from the Philippines saying that our property was devastated by the typhoon and I needed to send money right away to relocate my family temporarily. With this news and safety & family being my priority, I told LPS that I am cancelling my surgery and won't do it anymore because I am allocating my budget for my family instead. And Felicia said she understands when I spoke with her over the phone. Then I called Care Credit to cancel the card since I wont use it anymore. I spoke with 2 reps (2nd person's name was "Preeti") and she said she cancelled my card already and $6,000 is back to my credit limit. However, on November 8, I received an email notification from Care Credit that "$1,500.00 has been authorized on my behalf and the money was released." To mu surprise & dismay, I called Care Credit again and asked them why and how the money still got released without my permission, but they were NOT able to provide me an answer. And up to now, LPS has not responded to my emails and call back requests yet.
