I Hired Patrick ******, Palmers way Welding (LLC) to install a 200 linear feet wrought iron fence (6ft height) on June 2, 2022 for $8000 through a written contract with the completion date of about Jun 15th 2022. I paid $4500 at the time of ratification and the remaining upon completion. Mr. Patrick installed 25/34 posts (wrong size post 3 1/4 vs 2 inch of course) post within 15 days of ratification of the contract. He verbally agreed to dig the post hole for the post about 3ft with cement to secure. He only dug the post 14 inches and I asked to correct and he accused me with harrassing him and refused to work with me. During the time he has been moving the date for installation multiple times. I finally hired a project manager to manage the project and he contacted Mr. Patrick and he agreed to work with him through written document that he will be managing the project. We provided the document and the next day he said he is not comfortable working in the property and he will refund the $4500 and take the posts on in July 22, 2022. I cannot believe anything he says and he is going to do. He is taking the money and promising, but not delivering. He is dragging the issue not have it file it in court. A deer knocked one of the post and it happened have no cement. but it was only 8inch deep. all the posts are not aligned, posts are moving/leaning, there are more posts required for this project, no actual fence was installed. Actually, I'm glad he doesn't want to work here. I do not think he knows what he is doing. He needed the money then and made all the contract without having any intention to complete the job. Please help to get my money back. I paid $4500 Mr. Patrick. I also hired a project manager for $500 to manage the project for a week. Now, I'm at loss on both ends. Thank you!
