      They will do everything in their power to get you to buy a new system. Level-Horizon installed a new Heat pump and furnace in 2018. In 2025 it wasn't working properly, our heating bill hit $900. Even though we bought a service contract every year, they refused to come out to check it saying they were too busy unless we paid $89 and sign a statement saying they would examine it.. I did, and the technician came right out spent two days ***lacing part after part trying to figure out what was wrong. Our system was under part warranty, but the labor warranty had just ran out. He even wiggled the breaker box until it smoked and sparked. "Need a new one." He finally said that I needed a new system and, amazingly, a sales *** could be out in ************************************************************* a coupon for $500 and they were running a special on a Daiken. The sales *** came out, sold me a Daikin heat pump and air handler for $11,654. He said the bundling special brought down the price. I asked about the previous failed attempts to ***lace part after part that was invoiced for $998.05, and he said the old system would be taken away so that would go away. But when I got my bill, they charged for it. I called and they said it was "labor" for the 2 days (half a day for 2 days) work they HAD to charge for. The system wasn't working the next day. A technician came out, took it apart, and tried to get me to sign a form to buy a new system since this one wasn't working. I refused and the technician got upset with the unit taken apart. The supervisor came later, and fixed it.The county did the mechanical and electrical inspection, and FAILED BOTH. Horizon called to set up a time when I can take another day off work so they can come and fix the problems, which includes leaving a hot wire unprotected in the furnace that the inspector said could have killed someone. They capped nothing off, failed to splice wires, etc. I asked to talk to a supervisor, No response.

      The CSR called me and sent out a supervisor to make the repairs annotated by the county inspectors. The supervisor came out on 2 April and made the repairs. I was still charged for parts even though my warranty was still enforce and the parts they replaced were hauled away. $560.15 for a condenser, $207.40 for a whip replacement, and $280.50 for a capacitor. If after replacing these items and finding them not to be the problem, and them deciding I needed a whole new system, why would I be charged for parts they kept?

      Had Horizon Services come out 9/20/24 for a seasonal service check on a residential furnace. They indicated gas was leaking and other problems. They provided 2 estimates for repair (approximately $4,500-5000) and, later, another Horizon employee, from sales, provided an estimate for replacement ($6500). The sales rep. was pushy and condescending. I told him I needed some time to evaluate the estimates yet over the weekend, he texted me (a Sunday no less!) and wanted to know my decision. Since then, I had two other local, licensed companies come out and neither company could find ANY problem that Horizon stated was at issue. Furthermore, the other companies noted that some of the parts were still under warranty and, worse yet, had there been an actual gas leak, Horizon never turned off the gas. Both of the other companies were not shocked by what I told them. They said unscrupulous companies, especially the larger ones, will prey on unknowing consumers, especially the elderly and women. Fotunately, I did not part with any money but undoubtedly, other people will be taken advantage of and fall for unnecessary repairs and be outrageously overcharged. Shame on Horizon! I will also be contacting the Home Improvement Commission about Horizon's fraudulent service.

      My appointment was scheduled for today between 12pm-4pm. I wasted my entire day waiting for a plumber who never arrived or called. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. Now, I have to find someone else and still deal with problem until I do.

      I was completely satisfied with horizon services technician Steve who showed up on time. I told him the symptoms of my air conditioning. He dove right into the problem and within a short time about 20 minutes,gave me the suction. He then proceeded to repair the problem.he was very professional courtes and friendly. He was great and I will definitely recommend him to friends and family.

      Charged me $373 to replace a capacitor (a $20 part), and a further $333 to crimp a piece of wire with frayed insulation ($2). Had me by the balls because of the heat wave so no choice other than to go along with this highway robbery.

      We have been using Horizon for several years. They have replaced two aging HVAC units in my house over the past few years. Work was always as quick and efficient as possible and they worked around my work schedule for both. When we got estimates they were excellent to work with. They also do all of our servicing on our HVAC units. They show up on time, they are friendly and get done in a respectable time.

      STAY AWAY from Horizon Services! My AC went out the other day and I booked online for service. After receiving an email confirmation for a technician between 12pm and 4pm I humbly waited today. I waited until 3:45pm to try to find out what was going on. The customer support person said they didn't have an appointment with me and said my phone number wasn't registered in their system. Then lied and later said they called around 1pm and that I didn't pick up. I have been patiently waiting by my phone all day, received no voicemail or missed calls. Thank you for absolutely nothing Horizon.

      I initially called Horizon because the handy man was to installed chair height commodes. Big mistake. Had to call Horizon who can out the next morning and they obtained and installed the commodes needed without a problem. I then purchased a yr contract for Spring and Fall cks on my HVAC unit. I recently had a Spring ck. The tech pointed out the areas that will eventually break and will need replacing. They were thorough, knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He answered all of my questions . So far very satisfied. Even the telephone personnel were polite and knowledgeable.

      I am very disappointed with Horizon. I call Horizon Services for a repair diagnose for my AC unit. I was told I would be charge 89$ for the visit. I told the tech that the blower motor is out. He only walked into my house with a drill. He checks it and confirms it is out. He didn't use any special tools or do much. He just went and confirmed the blower needs to be replaced. When it came to pay the invoice for the visit which was supposed to be 89$. He charged 140$ instead of the 89$. I asked why He mentioned that Horizon charges 60$ to close the call (job) if the tech doesn't do any of the work. I went ahead and paid for it because he made it seems like there is no other option and that it was not on him but the office that charges 60$ to close the call. I feel like a got scam and taken advantage of.
