1 starHorrible Experience with TDAuto Finance Avoid at All Costs!TDAuto Finance is an absolute nightmare to deal with. They are dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unreliable. For over two months, theyve been holding my refund money, claiming they sent a payment check that I never received. Despite having all their other letter, theres no trace of this supposed check, and they keep giving me the runaround with vague excuses. They owe me a reimbursement for the difference, but they provide zero information or updates, leaving me in the dark. This is beyond frustratingits outright deceptive. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this terrible company! 0 starReview fromKristy J.

1 starI called to dispute the interest charged from a promotional balance that expired on April 21, 2025.On my March 21st stmt, my promotional balance was $617.89. On April 11, 2025, I made a payment of $620. I called customer service on the same day to confirm that this payment would be applied to the promotional balance. I was advised by the representative that the payment would first apply to the minimum payment and the balance would be applied to the promotional balance that was expiring first. The representative confirmed that my automatic payment scheduled for 16th would then apply to the balance of the promotional balance that was expiring first. I checked my statement today because I noticed the automatic payment did not get deducted from my bank account. They added $477 of interest. I called customer service to dispute the interest ********************** and to inquire why my automatic payment wasn't deducted from my account. The representative spoke to a supervisor and said they could remove the interest charges if I make a payment of $430.89, almost $200 more than my minimum payment.Below is my understanding of how the payments were going to be applied from my conversation with the customer service representative on 4/11:4/11 payment $620 minimum payment due $249 Balance applied to promotional balance $371 4/16 auto payment $249 Total applied to promotional balance $620 Had I been told on 4/11 that my auto payment was not going to be deducted, I would have made the payment manually. I am happy to pay the $246.89 that should have been the balance owed on the promotional balance after the $371 was applied. I should not be penalized because the customer service representative gave me incorrect information on 4/11.Review fromAshley D

1 starThis bank is a joke! We purchased a vehicle out of state and had to make multiple requests through the *** and phone calls in order to get the title sent and then it was lost by **** This is our 5th month without a license plate. Four weeks after it was lost, we were told they have not requested a duplicate, which could take another 4-6 weeks. They will not call you, as they "cannot" make outgoing phone calls. You have to call them back to get answers. You can't talk to a supervisor either. Anytime you use the "secure communication" on the website, they respond with "please call to get this information." I would never recommend this bank and we will consider changing our lender once this is resolved.Review fromChad D

1 starAwful Experience TD Bank Shouldnt Be Partnered with ******* I came into contact with TD Bank after purchasing a ******* phone through their financing option. Thats when I learned that TD Bank does not accept credit or debit card paymentsthe only options are direct bank transfers or mailing a check. I explained to them that credit card payments offer buyer protection that bank transfers do not, and that they were putting customers at greater ******************** risk. They didnt care.Reluctantly, I agreed to set up a bank transfer. A representative told me I needed to enroll in autopay online, which I did. I thought the account was handleduntil I got a call saying the payment was missed and they were reporting it as late to the credit bureau. I had to make a manual bank transfer payment (again, the only option they allow) and asked them to walk me through autopay setup again. I followed their instructions. But soon after, I received another call telling me payment was missed again. At that point, I just wanted to pay off the full balance to avoid more damage to my credit. But they told me they couldnt provide confirmation of a $0 balance until after the next billing cyclewhich is ************* make matters worse, the customer service was flat-out rude, dismissive, and combative. They constantly spoke over me and acted like they were trying to win an argument, not help a customer. After all of this, I looked them up and saw that their Better Business Bureau accreditation has been revoked and they hold a 1-star rating. That checks out.TD Bank is not a company major brands like ******* should be doing business with. This experience was so bad its made me reconsider staying with Samsungand Ive never liked *****, but at least their financing doesnt put customers through this.I will never do business with TD Bank again.Review fromKevin T

1 starLies lies and more lies from TD Bank! I'm supposed to get my interest on savings account The last day of every month. So I had some other questions about what happened during March but I asked the girl and I called from the TD Bank app so it knows who you are and I asked her why was I charge finance charges when I was traveling international overseas. When I opened up my TD bank account they bragged about that if I was overseas I could use my debit card and not be charged finance charges. So she says to me oh we changed that last month at the beginning of March did you not get the email or letter. So I'm on the phone with her so I'm on my computer so I do a quick search of TD Bank emails and no email about this finance charge so I said to her why are you lying to me? She had no answer she just acted dumb So I said it was only for $5 but I want to know is my interest payment on my savings account going to come to me it's supposed to come the last day of the month and she says I don't see it pending. I said well if it doesn't come I'm going into the bank tomorrow I'm taking all my money out and she says very nasty yeah you should do that or call up and see why it didn't come. I just hate when people lie to you because TD Bank is made other changes they don't warn you of these changes. But they get their customer service agents to tell lies and I hate lying!Review fromMustafa K

1 starTD BANK is a scam company, which doesn't protect it's customers assests. I had a fradulent ********************** on my **********************, which over drafted me, i took paper work to the branch in ************, **, showing that NORTON 360, was going to credit me, but couldn't, due to TD Bank closed the card that was used. I did a dispute 2 times, informing TD Bank, that ****** was sending a check for the exact amount that over drafted me. TD Bank, charged me fees and put me in collections as i was waiting on the check in the mail. I also can't do no transactions online or over phone, due to my phone # changed, i went to branch several times to correct the issue, but issue still ongoing. TD BANK is the worst BANK in the **. I wish i didn't have to leave a STAR.
