Before taking the machine off the lot concerns were addressed about the doors not closing properly. At this time it was said to be because of the plastic piece they had broke during installation.First trip out with our new general 1. it over heats causing the machine to shut down. 2. Rear window on the drivers side falls off was able to catch it.3. Front and rear doors are connecting together when opening 4. Front passenger door excessive rattle/movement (passenger side does not)Machine was brought to dealer and were told by the now service manager that the machine never would have left the show room in the condition it was in if he had any power at the time. And was accused by the owner of ripping the window out ourselves by hitting something because it had a scratch on it. They did some adjustments on the doors, reattached the window and bleed the system again. Was informed by the owner that it is not perfect but its the best its going to be. Second trip out 1. Over heated again 2. Passenger side rear window came off like the previous rear drivers side. The window slammed against the back of the machine spraying our dog with shattered glass as well as Main Street in Greenville.3. Passanger front door still rattles to the point that I now worry this is going to shatter in my face while riding in the passenger seat and or fall off completely.4. Rear passenger door while driving opens (with our son in the back) and slams agains machine breaking the door pin. We have nothing but issues with the doors/machine and it is not our fault or responsibility as being told. We are not kids beating the machine we are in our late 40s early 50s driving with our son and dog trying to have a nice time and this machine has left us feeling unsafe to do so. My wife cant take it by herself for she cant bleed the system trail side and refuses to have our son and dog in the back for fear of harm.

I regret this has been an issue for ****************. The vehicle purchased was modified at the request of **************** to include the special ordered doors and heating system. When installing the aftermarket doors, a trim piece was broken. **************** chose to take delivery with the understanding that we would replace the trim piece and realign the doors. As stated on their first ride the driver side rear window was broken off, and we were advised of the overheating and door fitment issues. Those repairs and adjustments were completed along with re-purging the coolant system on 6/3/23.  The window was replaced at no charge to the customer, we cleaned the vehicle and delivered it to them in courtesy and goodwill. The customer was advised the windows will not withstand any tug or pull from brush or branches incurred on the trails, and that is the most common issue with this design of window & mount breakage (we could see the brush/ branch scars down the doors).

**************** called me (the owner) the week of 6/29/23 and mentioned the machine overheated again, but he was going to resolve himself, and he was going to sell the machine, as he was not happy with it. I acknowledged his remarks and told him I would keep it in mind, should we have someone looking for a machine like his.

The asst service manager came to me on 7/6 and advised ************** had called him directly and wanted to know what he could do for him with the situation that happened in the current complaint, overheating again, and the door flying open. He was advised we needed to look at the overheating issue to find the cause.

The door flying open is typically caused by the door not being latched properly and is not a warranty item- the doors worked properly and were inspected by me personally on the 6/3/23 service visit.

**************** demanded a guarantee of coverage and chooses to take no responsibility. Despite his derogatory and demeaning remarks with the asst service manager we will take a look at the machine and advise accordingly.

At this time, If it is a failure of materials and/ or workmanship, it is likely warranty- if it is caused by mis-operation or lack of maintenance it is not warranty.

There is no cause to buy back this machine or the chosen installed accessories which were purchased by the consumer.

    Sincerely

    ***************************, Gmgr- Owner

My husband ************************* and I brought my working 2013 ***** PCX moped into their shop asking for a tune-up, and for them to look at the clutch as it had been eating belts, which lead us to believe there was a clutch problem. The repair guys said they would take a look, and get it road ready. The maintenance repairs were $550. They replaced a belt and a battery. They said she was good for the season. After getting it home, I took it on a little ride and the moped died 30 miles later. I brought the moped on my trailer back to the shop. The repair guy reported the clutch had totally rotted out, causing it to be non-drivable. I asked them why they had not taken care of the clutch on the initial repair. They stated they did not look at the clutch at all. I asked them why it cost $550 then if they did not do a full tune-up. They said that was not included in a tune up, but they drove it 5 miles and it seemed fine. They quoted me $700-800 to do a clutch rebuild. I declined. They wanted to charge me $180 for diagnostics. I refused. They gave me the moped back at no charge. I attempted to rebuild the clutch myself, but the clutch was missing from the moped. The rod that attaches the clutch to the engine is completely bent so the crank case will not go on completely. The plastics were haphazardly replaced causing significant cosmetic damage. Some minor parts missing. The new belt I was charged for was also missing. If the clutch were still in the moped, it would be possible to replace parts at a significantly less sum that replacing the entire clutch system. I called the shop back, asking where the internal parts of my moped were. The manager said he would look around and get back to me. He called me back stating he found the parts and would credit me $34.99 for the new belt that was alleged destroyed in the *********************************************************************** and due to their negligence it became an inoperable machine with missing parts.

I am sorry you are not satisfied with the service received. As page 2 indicates, we did not find an issue with the clutch, and no clutch repair was done. We did the service, replaced the battery and replaced the belt as described.

Worn belts, or belts with burn spots will create many different issues that imitate "clutch" problems. No clutch issue was found during our test drive. When you returned to us- you wanted to get an estimate of the failure- in order to do that we had to dis-assemble the clutch. We gave you the estimate for clutch repair, you chose not to complete the repair. Since we did not see a clutch issue during our test drive, we did not charge you for the time to dis-assemble and identify parts for estimate, we also refunded the cost of the belt that was damaged by the clutch issue.

That is the extent of our responsibility, in this matter.

    Sincerely

I told the business my issue with my moped, (to look at the clutch, that I thought was warped) I paid them the $515.84 but they did not fix the clutch. (they did fix the minor issues) my mopeds clutch then broke after 30miles so I went back to the business for them to fix it. Their reply was that the inside of the clutch was rotted out. They then proceeded to "inform" me they could replace the clutch for $700. I then Replied no, you guys scammed me. Etc. And picked up my now broken moped after putting $515.84 in it and dealing with all that stress. They fixed..the belt drive,15k service, ngk spark plug, battery, and shop supplies. I did some researched after they told me clutch would be $300. and I found one for $80.. I feel I was strongly scammed and would like a full refund. Or a full repair.
