    We contracted with rental items for our wedding. Communication and customer service was not great prior to the event. Multiple voicemails and emails to get seemingly simple tasks accomplished (picking out linens, getting a copy of the contract etc.). Delivery went fine. They provided what we ordered and it arrived when requested. After the event the owner called, yelling at the bride upset at the state of how the linens, chairs, tables etc. were left. But there were no directions in the contract how items (linens, silverware, tables, chairs, etc.) were to be returned. Affordable Events staff set up the dance floor over the barn floor with the resident starlings (birds) flying in and out. No one mentioned that anything was problematic about what we ordered or where it was placed. When affordable events came back to pick up the rentals five days after the event, the owner was appalled at the state of things and called yelling at the bride that there were damages. Three weeks after the event we got an invoice for $2,300. Requests for documentation and proof of the damages were immediately met with threats to *** and in subsequent emails to pay up or face court action in increments of 5 days, 48 hours, and the following day.
