1 starVery disappointed in ***. Im located in ******* and I have paid for the upgraded service for 13 years. Many years not even having a service needed. This year my vehicle has been unreliable. When I got stuck last week, I needed to pay an additional 100 dollars because I had exhausted my service calls. Fine I paid it, when calling to discuss this complaint with *** they could have cared less, and quickly got my account canceled without offering any resolution. So much for loyalty to customers. Not impressed.Review fromChristopher B

1 starThe most unreliable service! My daughter has been waiting for a tow truck for over 3 hours in freezing temperatures and endless calls into their incompetent call center is infuriating! To think that I also use them for Life Insurance has made me do a 360 from doing any business with this company.Review fromAlbert E

1 starI called for service on Saturday July 21, at 6:37 PM. After navigating a phone call and a link, I was informed at 6:50 PM, by text, that service would arrive by 7:50 PM. At approximately 8:20 PM, I received a voicemail that there was a problem with service in the area. Apparently only one tow truck company is available in this area at night, and it had closed. We were told to expect assistance in 60 to 90 minutes. **************** is a very busy summer resort town and this was a weekend where I would have expected a more robust availability of tow trucks on a Saturday evening. Hours later, I received voicemail from a NY towing service asking if I still needed assistance. I feel the communication was very poor. I was continually told I would receive a text informing me when the tow truck driver was on the way. This never occurred. I tried multiple phone calls to speak to a person, only to be forwarded by the online system. It was after 11 PM when assistance arrived. If I had originally been given correct information, I would have had the option of getting a ride to my hotel and arranging for service at another time.Review fromBrad C

1 starMy advice would be to just call a local towing company directly and just pay for the service. Many auto insurance companies also have their own roadside assistance now too. I called for a tow, and it was cancelled because AAA didnt tell them that even though I was the caller there would be someone else answering the phone and waiting at the vehicle. When AAA called the person I told them to call for updates they cancelled the dispatch because it was not me who answer the phone. The woman was also extremely rude, and told my partner that unless he can put me on the phone it is his problem now. Both of our names are on the account. I pay extra to have both of us on the account. I called AAA a second time and the tow truck they dispatched showed up 6 hours later told us AAA wont pay for it. $350 that I would have preferred to pay a local towing company. Why are dispatchers for ***** in ********? I used to have this service 10 years ago and I remember it being a lifesaver. Seems the times have changed and I will not renew.Review fromOnyrknes S

1 starVery disappointed and I wanna almost say.shocked but after reading everyone elses reviews n looking back on my previous year of (TRYIN) to use my MOTOR CLUBS so called perks or amenities for me to use , yet I pay for these U-T-I-L-I-T-I-E-S which are supposedly ESSENTIALS to whomever the customer might be. @*$*z! ?? or thats whats advertised !? Anywho the point of this is diff , much mre ******** then the 8 years Ive ***** into being a plus member n wasting my time relating with others my last 3 previous dealings with . Cause not only will it just remind me how dmb I am but itll take away of my main purpose which Ill start with saying does anyone realize earlier I called it a motor ******** MY PERSONAL MOTOR CLUB ( AAA) was taking my truck for its final tow / service of the year making its way from my homestead in ***** to my paraents garage in ** , just at 96 miles to have body work done so my insurance wouldnt go thru the roof even IF SOMEONE OR ANOTHER BODYS the reasoning for n so Im done paying others stupidity .. as it was to boot I had told the driver after showing up for the first time in 4 n a half year when they said they were . Anywho I had to tell him that my fianc had lost the keys in transport of dropping kids off n Id already spent three days looking for them I could have another set made up or found them while waiting so the driver says hes worried to tow it backwards because of slowing him down wind hitting back of truck so I simply reminded him that my driveways very large n he could swing it around drop it n then again etc.. nope nope Im good n that was it .. I had given him directions n asked him to call me after dropping it off .. I NEVER GOT THAT CALL .. but my parents did mention saying that they seen my truck headed to work that am n was looking forward to seeing me for thanksgiving ( when I planned on working on it .. well when I finally got up to nh .never past my mind once why he nvr called but pt 2Review fromTimothy B

1 starI absolutely agree with the statements made by people before me. The seemed almost malicious. I was calling for my wife who had our daughter (who was with her) call me, using her phone. My wife had left her purse at home and also had no phone. It took a couple of tries, but I explained the situation to the rep. **** acted as if this scenario was suspicious, but I was well within my rights being the middle man. It was OUR account. This was 11:30 p.m. **** started insisting that she must present ID, surmising that hers was left in her purse. I understand they don't want to be an accomplice for stealing your car. Still, they threatened to cancel the dispatch without ID for my wife. My wife and daughter were 100 miles away on a winter night and I wanted to get them home. I started getting angry with this person, but managed to squelch it. She eventually left me with the false impression that someone was being dispatched. I begged. After about 45 minutes, there was no contact from a local dispatcher with the *** on a flat bed. I called back, and they make you go all the way through the same menu. There is no call recognition. Then I started getting cut off everytime I called. The cell service was fine. I tried using my home phone and had the same thing happen, once they identified it was me. I figured I was being snubbed because I had been a little abrasive with this person. I used my work cell and had to type in the 16 digit(!) account number, and they led me into a voicemail cul de sac before I heard them hang up on me. What did I really do to deserve this? I'm a worried and cranky father in the middle of the night, and they try to ********* with snide remarks when I called them on their BS? It finally takes almost 2 hours before I get a message from local dispatch. It will be 3 hours total before the truck arrives. There is something just rotten about it. Like the spirit of our times. Also rather like Enron. I feel like "Grandma ******".Review fromMichael R

1 starThis is the second unacceptable experience that I have had with AAA NNE in the past 4 months. I experienced a dead battery with my wife and daughter in the car one night in Rye, **. I called dispatch and was told that it would be 1 hour, which I felt was very reasonable. 30 minutes later I received a text message update, telling me that it would be another 5 hours! Come on AAA, seriously, 6 hours to come to a 22 year premier client with 4 cards. A Good Samaritan came along after 1 1/2 hours and gave ** a jump. My wife gave him a $50 bill for his trouble and we were on our way! AAA service has definitely gone down the tubes.Review fromWanya M

1 starOverall I would give a 0 star and while I understand its not the dispatchers fault the service up here is horrendous. I got a flat on my way back to ****** from Newington and called AAA. I already sourced a spare from a tire shop that would be open in ****** late so I just needed the tow. I explained to them that I also have all my clothes and personal items in a hotel in ****** and the rates to stay overnight here was expensive as they were unable for more than 16 hours to find a driver to accept the tow. Please do better. Im paying 200 a year to sit in my car?
