    Just checked my Clynk account. They reimbursed me for 62 containers when the bag had 180 cans that I confirmed had a NY stamp on them. Every time they scam me. I am done with them!

    The customer has to purchase the cheap quality bags from that almost always rip even when not filled to capacity! We started using our own tear proof bags and Clink stopped giving us credit for the contents! Clink say they only make money when they redeem your bottles from their vendors but I think they're in the bag business. Too bad Hannaford stores are affiliated with Clink....kind of makes you feel you can't trust the store!

    ******, Thank you for your feedback. All bags are purchased and sold by Hannaford Supermarkets. CLYNK does not gain anything financially with regards to bags sales. We understand the concerns with the durability of the bag and are trying to make corrections. A new size of bag will be introduced to help minimize the weight of containers returned.     At first I thought this was a great service, but recently I dropped off 3 full bags of cans and 16.9 oz soda/beer bottles, I was credited $7.60 . I took 1 bag to a self return just to see if I was not calculating it correctly. Well the 1 bag returned $9.85, so I only got like 2.95 per bag with them, I know it is only 7 dollars but it does add up I did 3 bags so they got me for over 21 dollars. It's a convenient service, but will only use them when absolutely necessary I will be doing self returns when I can

Once the bags were processed those bags credits reverted and the proper amounts were credited to your account. Your new balance is $15.50.     Scam on the edge of crime. I have tried to use them first time in Hannaford in ******* *****. Hannaford sells farmers milk in glass bottles that are 2 dollars per bottle in deposit. I have brought around 25 bottles collected from the year and deposited all at once and expected to see around $50 balance. But got just $3.80. This is pure scam. Not sure on Hannaford or on CLUNK side but this is ridiculous.

In doing so, we have special guidelines when it comes to redeeming them through the CLYNK system. We ask customers to include no more than 6 ***************** containers per bag mixed with other redeemable aluminum and plastic containers. After reviewing your recent bag credit, I can see most of the containers broke in transit. When that happens, we're unable to remand the deposit from the distributor, thus, we're unable to give you your deposit.We've credited you in this instance as we understand you're a newer customer.     Useful savings program, we have over $400 now in our account. Been clynking for over a decade. We hope the program continues; its a convenient way to recycle empties. I wonder if some container compression ( cans only of course) could occur at the drop off spot rather than hauling all that volume by truck to a central center but I am sure you all have considered all sorts of options. Thanks for the service.

    My nonprofit organization has a CLYNK account the reason why I am given four stars is because their online account doesnt show the list where bags were drop off, what date they were drop off and the date they were counted and how much total. This feature been requested for many years from many customers and last year someone on their ******** page said its coming however the feature was never rolled out.

    Clynk has not once provided the correct refund for the returnables I have turned in. I count very carefully every bag and note the contents on the bag I make sure the bags are closed and tied so that nothing falls out and that the clynk bag is in the correct position on the bag.When I turn them in I scan each and every bag separately.To date I have not had one refund correct. the best they ever done was short me 24 returnables out of 390 I turned in 3 bags the past weekend, 2 bags of 130 returnables and 1 bag of 120 returnables totaling 380 and only got credit for 223 returnables sorting me 157 returnables. Now I can understand if there is a small discrepancy like a few cans but 24 cans, 157 cans short is not acceptable. Either Clynk is purposely ripping off everyone or the drivers are tearing the bags so that the contents spill out and don't get credited.Either way if this is happening to others there is a major fraud going on and ********* should drop their service immediately.

    Hi,Since our inception 15 years ago, we have relentlessly innovated and improved safeguards to reduce errors. Today, we process a staggering number of containers and overall, we are extremely accurate, but errors do still occasionally happen. If you count containers in your CLYNK bags, and theres a discrepancy between your container count and your account balance, there may be a variety of factors at play: ********************* are the most common reason for not receiving a deposit credit. When we process a container that isnt recognized as redeemable, were not authorized to issue a deposit refund. Another reason for a credit imbalance is non-registered containers (meaning the beverage falls into a category that should make it eligible for redemption but the manufacturer has not registered it appropriately or has discontinued sale of the product and unregistered it). Either scenario will delay the automatic credit. However, CLYNK may later award what are known as research credits. A research credit is issued when containers are eventually registered with the state as payable. We check our records against the registry daily and quickly update our system to apply those credits retroactively, even if its days, months or years later. Sometimes, a customer believes the container is worth more than it is for example, in *****, there is a common perception that a beer container is worth 15 because it is alcohol, but it is only worth 5. Very infrequently, we can have a processing error that affects a whole bag the operator forgets to scan a tag, or the machine doesnt register the bag tag data. This is why we encourage you to always scan each and every bag you drop, because then CLYNK has a record that the bag existed, even if we dont see it getting processed. We will investigate the issue and credit you for a missing bag in the event that we made an error. Finally, the bag may be processed well, but there may be a container missed at the processing station the container falls off without being seen, gets incorrectly put with another bag, or is missed by the scanner because something about the container makes it difficult to read. For these individual container errors, we rely on our master lost and found account from which we reimburse customers.In situations where you believe your account has not been credited the correct amount, please call us at **************, or email us at ******************************** We will do our best to get to the bottom of the discrepancy and will gladly make you whole when a mishap happens on our watch.
