I had construction work done on my house which involved replacing siding after a storm. This job involved removing security bars from one of the windows to finish the job. After the repairs they were supposed to put the bars back. I was told by repair man they would return within an hour with the proper tools to reinstall the bars, they never returned. I contacted the business 3 times to be scheduled but have not heard from them.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:

Hello ******, As I was telling over the phone, I had All Points construction install vinyl siding. In order to install the siding, the security bars had to be removed.  After the installation the installers was supposed to place back the bars on the window. The installer claimed he needed a tool from the construction company to reinstall the bars. He never returned after a couple days I called the project manager she assured me she send someone to take care of the problem. No results after inquiry 3 times.

    Regards,

Hired All Point Construction to replace all windows, trim, siding, front door, front and back screen doors, soffit, gutters, and upgraded colomns on front porch. The contract was signed June, 2021. Due to covid, we were told materials and work was delayed six weeks. Fast forward to end of January 2022, is when they first arrived to start. During the next four months we had some issues. They installed a defected window that only opens a few inches, they did not ****** around back door, and ordered the wrong color columns. They did send a guy out two times to try to fix the window. He was unable to and said he was going to recommend that it be replaced. Both times, he did not have the color ****** needed. The upcharged columns did not come in the color I suggested. I was told that they were going to come up with a few options and go from there. As, they knew I did not want just trim wrapped columns. THe following afternoon when my wife awoke (she's a RN working midnights) the columns were wrapped in trim. No options were given. The columns we paid for remained in our yard. Our sales representative **** texted my wife end of May to collect final payment. Wife responded that the work was not completed and afters multiple attempts to fix the broken window, it still does not open. **** and ***, the owner of All Point came to my house. *** had the audacity to say it's good that a window is difficult to open. Basically bulling us for the final paymentm of $10,500. Being understanding, we wrote a check for $10,000. Leaving a balance of $500. They would receive it when the work was finished and we had all new working windows. *** agreed. During this visit, we have on camera **** taking the upgraded columns from our yard and put them in their All Point pickup truck. We never allowed this and didn't even know it was them until later. They have my number but only contact my wife. They are now coming with threats to file a lien, when they haven't completed the job.

Hello! We have been trying to get this project finalized for months. We have called both numbers on file and can't seem to ever get a response or a call back. We finally get ahold of ***************** mind you we finished the project back in April early May and it is now June 27 th we have call logs for a month trying to schedule to get back out to house. See photos of call logs. We look at the concern of the window at this time and we then send out are main installer to take another look following morning. *************** still not happy with the stiffness of the double hung window. We all agree to have the rep out and they give us two dates to work off date agreed to was July 12 th again we are June 28 th when this is set up. The time was set to meet at 8:30 or 4 pm we all agree on 8:30 my rep drives 1.5 hours from ohio to look at this window and come up with a solution. Again no answer or no show from ****************. They clearly don't want to rectify the problem in a  timely manner so we sent out a Intent to Lien letter for the ****** still unpaid. Please let me know what more i can do to rectify the situation.
