Last Fall (2022), Michigan Asphalt was contracted to sealcoat our driveways. The initial application of the sealcoat was a bit thin and after it dried there were several areas of the drive that did not seem to be coated. We contacted the company and they did agree to recoat the entire drive even though we said we were fine with spot coating the deficient areas. So kudos to them for that. This Spring (a few weeks ago) we were doing yardwork and noticed 1 area where the sealcoating had failed or washed off and several other areas on the sides of the drive where no coating had actually been applied (maybe vegetation blocked the application last Fall?). We sent pictures to the business and asked them to inspect and spot treat the now non-coated areas. *************************, President responded that: "Apparently we have not had much success working with you, I would suggest you try to see if you can find a contractor who maybe a better fit...I feel I have done what I can at this point I'm out...***".I, like ***, would suggest that you "find a contractor who maybe (sic) a better fit".
