  On 6/14/2023 I received a cancellation notice via **** that *********** INS ** was not renewing my homeowner policy due to FAILURE TO **RRECT A PHYSICAL HAZARD.I contacted my agency, ********************* at KORTHASE ***** **************************** SVCS to find out what the hazard was that needed to be corrected. I was unable to reach ********************* on the initial call and was told by staff that the corrections were a SUGGESTION.At a later date I received a letter stating that *********** INS ** was placing me in non-renewal status due to FAILURE TO **RRECT PHYSICAL HAZARD. The HARZARD being some siding not finished.When I finally got in touch with *********************, he stated that the changes weren't a suggestion but mandatory. ********************* told me to get the siding done regardless of the fact that I would have to tear it off to rework the roof, at my expense.The contractor, *****************, of ***** **NSTR. did the work and did not meet code specifications.Secondary to that *********** INS ** closed the claim without notification, and with the construction permit still being open.I am in the process of getting the contractor to meet code requirements.In the meantime, *********** INS **, KORTHASE ***** INS have placed my policy in non-renewal status because the SUGGESTED work was not finished under some timeline that I am unaware of.The initial permit period is good for five years. The work was not finished to meet code requirements. *********** INS ** is cancelling me because the work was held up during **VID restrictions and is not meeting a faux timeline that someone pulled out of a hat.I have been getting nothing but the runaround from *********************, and KORTHASE ***** INS.I called *********** INS **, at the behest of *********************, and they stated that KORTHASE ***** "NEVER" followed up with underwriting to make sure my policy was not canceled. Subsequently, *********** INS ** forwarded my call back to **********************A "SUGGESTION" has turned into zero accountability and lies.
