    They dropped my husband's plan over $8 that was overdue, which we weren't even aware of. We changed our address 3 times and they continue to send correspondence to the wrong address. Don't you think we would have paid $8 to keep coverage?? They said they would review it and make a determination, well they denied it and said we could not appeal and sent that letter to wrong address again. BCBS ****, they don't care about people. They gave no reason why they wouldn't reinstate my husband's policy over $8, just DENIED, no appeal, go away. Buyer beware, keep looking, they don't care about you, your just a number.

In this case, we do not have enough information to review Mrs. ********* specific concerns. However, we can provide general information. Members enrolled in our individual plans must notify Blue Cross of any changes in their address by calling the customer service number on the back of their ID card or by submitting the request in writing. In addition, members enrolled in our individual plans must make their premium payments by the due date listed on the premium invoice or within the designated grace ******* If payment is not received, coverage is cancelled for non-payment. To request reinstatement, our members may contact the customer service number on the back of their ID card, or they may submit the request in writing.

    This is the worst company/ business I have ever dealt with. I have speech reimbursements for my son the last 4+ years. Since March of 2021 I have gotten ZERO reimbursed which was always a month to get taken care of now we are going on 18months with not 1 cent out of thousands due reimbursed. I had sent all proper paperwork to them 2 times, faxed everything that they needed , been on phone for hours dealing with people there who have no clue how to do anything to be told they are working on it that all my paper work is good. Yet still nothing. If your looking for a provider go else where!Anywhere but with blue cross Blue Shield of Michigan

    I am totally disgusted. First question I had in almost a year. I haven't used any benefit of this insurance. I need to get a approved dentist in my area. You don't list Dentists in our provider book. I called the office twice today. The first person gave me a www address. I went to it, and it was nothing short of confusing. I called back and a representative looked up providers in the county I requested. It was a list of 22 but each would have to be called to verify whether they accepted you insurance. I agreed to make the calls myself & asked that an email with the list be sent to me. I got the email and when I hit the address key it wouldn't let me open it. I tried 3 times! DO YOU REALIZE THAT YOU ARE WORKING WITH OLDER PEOPLE? IS IT YOUR INTENTION TO KEEP US CONFUSED. I'VE WASTED MY MONEY WITH YOUR PLAN! PLEASE CONTACT ME. MYC

    I have been trying since September 2021 to get properly reimbursed for out of network payments. Prior to September 2021, this process had worked very well. Since then, they have continually made getting my owed reimbursement a nightmare. They still owe me at least $500. And now just sent me a letter that they rebilled some of my claims and that I owe them money. The charge in question was reimbursed on the wrong code (through no fault of mine) which paid less money. When the proper code was used, which reimbursed at a higher rate, I suddenly owed them money. I tried to get a straight answer or talk to someone in claims. I was told my only recourse was to put in a complaint and maybe someone would get back to me. I have been a customer since 2016. Its really disturbing that they treat their customers this way. I have spent more than 40 hours on the phone trying to sort this out with multiple team members. Each team member gave me different answers in each call. Since I understand a bit about medical billing, I am able to find issues when billed with wrong codes. I cant imagine how much they fleece other customers who have no idea what the *** is explaining. I am frustrated and angry. Sadly, I need health insurance and they are my only option, as its the only choice of health insurance offered by my employer. They need to do better but likely wont. Hopefully others see this and start demanding better processes and give better training to their employees about how to address issues like mine. In addition, there should be a way to speak directly with the claims department, instead of hiding from the public.

    I have been trying for a week to get help. My monthly payment was made twice in a month. Blue Cross claim they did not get first payment. I have proof by way of a copy of the check sent to Blue Cross, from my bank, that they received it and back of check was endorsed by them. Customer service was no help at Blue **********************, told me to wait 7 days to hopefully get it resolved. Blue Cross has my money but wont confirm it. I would like a refund but how do I do that if **************** does not really seem to exist.

    I have the same issues as people below, on hold for ***** minutes just to to have someone tell me they can't answer my question and will have thier supervisor who also can't answer my question call me back. Round and Round we go and no resolution to the problem that is actually on their end.Ugh.

    This company thinks they know how to deal with ************** & making medical decision when they are not doctors. My husband is out of his ** meds and they are going to take 15 days to approve an authorization from his physician, I told them that I will take him back to the ** and they can pay more for that then.

    As a medical provider trying to help a patient, I've gone through more than a half-dozen telephone numbers trying to reach a human. Their computerized telephone system makes you listen to twenty minutes of benefit information when you just want to speak to a human. I went through this twice, only to be told either everyone was at lunch, or the office was closed. Calling other numbers provided me with representatives who sent me to the torture of the telephone loop. Finally, on the third day of attempting to contact a sentient life form. I spoke for 45 minutes with a customer service representative whose English was extremely difficult to understand. I'm not even sure if I accomplished anything. I'm supposed to tell the patient to call BCBS, and put him through this h***
