      If I could, there would be NO star! Scam company! Why isn't the BBB looking into it?! Bought furnature, I could exchange for ANY reason. They denied my claim. I bought furnature for over $1700 and they offered me $300 then wanted me to pay them to remove wore out furnature!! BBB IF YOU EXSIST! HELP ALL OF US GET OUR MONEY BACK!!

      I cannot recommend this company. I have called repeatedly and asked for a report of the status quo of my claim. It takes a long time before anyone answers the phone, and because I am hearing impaired I cannot easily understand whomever I speak with and have to ask, "Please repeat." The mechanism of an expensive recliner is not working and I have requested to speak to someone about an approximate time/date to expect a call. I have received no calls and I am the one who initiates the calls to Guardsman without any success for feedback information. If you have the choice of selecting an insurance company, think twice - read the reviews . . . before investing money in this company.

      What a sad company to work for I'm sure. I paid close to $500 on my furniture warranty and it was a total scam. My claim was instantly denied, it was incredibly difficult to get to speak with anyone, waiting on the phone for a couple of hours and then eventually being told that my barely used furniture with its issue would not be covered, and the reason was evasive and kept circling back to it just isnt covered. total BS. if I could deter even 1 person from getting this coverage, I would be happy.

      If a salesperson recommends that you purchase a Guardsman furniture protection plan don't do it. Our Furniture salesperson recommended it for peace of mind. We hesitated because the cost was ******. What a mistake and waste of money. Recently, I had to file a claim. I carefully followed ALL the directions which were extensive. After long wait times on the phone, I was assured my application was in order. It was a shock when the claim was denied - for NOT following directions. I then ******* the ****************** Literally, HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of bad reviews. The Better Business Bureau, personal lawsuits, class action lawsuits, all the social media feeds filled with stories from very angry people. After reading all of information, I am puzzled as to why a furniture store associates with a company like Guardsman. So, buyer beware.

      I filed a Claim, Number: ****** before Christmas. The repairman came this morning 2/10/2025 to FIX our chair. It only needs a remote for the recliner, that is all. He failed to bring one. I am so upset with your company. They said the receipt is smudged, didn't want to honor the claim. I fixed that. I am the one that has to stay on top of getting this done. I think it's going to finally get fixed today. Oh no, he has to order the remote. A standard item. I have to wait another two weeks for, at least. Making it three months or more, of waiting on this PREMIER GUARDSMAN FURNITURE WARRANTY SERVICE! WOW! This is what you all call service??? What is the matter with you people??? This was one of the easiest fixes you would have ran across, but you couldn't even do that right! How do you show an A+ rating at the BBB with all those BAD reviews, and oh how I wish I read those reviews before I thought a lifetime warranty was a good idea. Because you have no idea what the word SERVICE even means. I WILL NEVER EVER BUY A GUARDSMAN WARRANTY OF ANY KIND AGAIN, OR BUY ANYTHING FROM DUBOIS FURNITURE EITHER.

      It’s seriously scam company.please don’t donate your hardworking money to scammers .I bought very expensive mattress form Hudson Bay company and bought protection plan for this company. After few months start issuing with the mattress.i call them no One took serious and no Respons back .i call multiple time the customer service staff talk very rudely and unprofessional way .i file 2nd clame again after few years.no one response.i am requesting people don’t waste your hard working Money to scammers. No response and resolution until now.

      We purchased the Guardsman Gold Plan (5-year protection for $350.00) when we bought our new sofa 4 years ago. Never had a need to use it until we tried to remove a stain that we found on the right arm. After attempting to remove it using the Guardsman-supplied stain remover (with no improvement), we filed a claim. We received an email 3 weeks later saying the claim was denied because "accumulation of stains, soil, or damage from repeated use, which is excluded from coverage under the section of your protection plan". Any moron looking at the required photos needed to file a claim could see it's clearly not that. I called and talked to customer service and explained again what the situation was. I learned pretty quickly my claim was denied, no if's and's, or but's. Guardsman is a TOTAL RIPOFF. I really can't see how BBB can have them rated as an A+ company (with 403/403 one-star ratings) unless they are rating based on SCAMS.

      It's a scam company please DON'T buy any protection plan from them. We bought their protection plan when we bought our carpets from ***** and we never received any service from them although we requested many many times. They even are not responding to the phone calls, if by any chance they answer the phone call, all they do is check my info that's all. Please stay away from them! I can't believe Safavieh recommends this company!

      We paid for the Gold plan when we bought several pieces of expensive furniture from Haverty’s. The furniture immediately started ripping at the seams, discoloring, and falling apart. We filed claims with documented photos and evidence, all clearly covered under our plan. They did nothing for us. This company is 100% a scam, backed by support from ******* I wish I had the money to file a class action lawsuit.

      Absolutely intentionally ripping people off with any excuse they can. Most recently, we tried to file for a tear in the fabric that they determined sight-unseen to be an uncovered "manufacturers defect". Previously they wouldn't cover sagging support beams because it had been too many days after it was first noticed. Don't waste your money, they will not honor your warranty.
