      Worthless warranty! Guardsman has a NO Use NO Lose provision on their warranty. The policy said that it could be used towards ******* merchandise but it doesnt state that you have to purchase twice the amount of the policy and then you get half of the amount deducted. That meant that even though I had $399 to use, I had to spend $800 to use it. This is not mentioned on the policy. Since we couldnt find anything we liked at the $800 or above price range, we could not use it. It looks like we lose.We will never purchase a Guardsman warranty again!

      horrible warranty company i filed a claim and they said they would contact me nothing for 2 weeks so i call them turns out i need to submit my sales reciept so i do they again say they will contact me nothing again so i call them a week leter they say oh ya we got it but cant see it you need t send it in the mail so do i give it maybe 2 week and hear nothing so i call them and now they so oh ya we got it but it was past the 1 month **** your claim is denied these people they take your money then dont tell you the proper steps and therefore refuse to fix your stuff worthless useless rude money stealing company

      Terrible service. Was referred to Guardsman by a high-end furniture store for sofa cleaning. After receiving a quote for the cleaning, and scheduling the work, the technician called at the expected arrival time to cancel the appointment. Then, Im told the price will be double what I was quoted, without him even seeing the sofa. I was still willing to go ahead as it was part of an insurance claim, but they took forever to reschedule the appointment.,. Seems like a scam to me. I will be giving this feedback to the furniture store that referred me. Would not recommend.

      Pay attention to reviews! I bought a sectional and not even a year later electrical problems. They stated it was in the warranty and a technician will be contacting me. This was May 11 and Ive called over and over and over and I have not been able to be assisted. Not only that but this company employees ive spoke to which is about 10 are never knowledgeable of anything. Its like its scripted its ridiculous. Id rather just get the money back I paid for the warranty I keep it pushing.

      Pointless. I have had three claims denied, two of them being mechanisms that broke. Also a "wear and tear" rip. This is a scam - save your money.

      Guardsman the warranty company that handled my Dehumidifer complaint the warranty itself ONLY covers the loss of humidity uptake. This was an issue but my main concern was the unit which was purchased by ***************** was not concerned at all about the plastic smell and severely loud sound coming from the unit which both were not covered by their warranty. My concern with the smell is that is something possibly burning within the unit. If this catches on fire I wanted noted here that I reported this issue.*************************

      Wish I could give this company ZERO stars. Filled out claim in April 2022 WITH photos of the broken part including model number and they send a technician out weeks later WITHOUT the part. Then take over a week to respond that they will order the part but as typical response they give, due to the shortage the part could take in excess of ***** weeks to arrive. Now they state the new part won't be covered under my warranty. This company is total b.s and not worth the paper you sign. The part broke on my furniture can't even be used. COMPLETELY WORTHLESS COMPANY!!!!!!!!

      I bought Guardsman Insurance when I bought brand new furniture. I have put in four claims that have been denied. I have a rocker recliner that needs to be replaced now and it's just a year old. Save your money don't get Guardsman insurance.

      Every single claim attempt we've made against one of these plans on indoor and outdoor furniture has been DENIED after weeks of waiting for them to respond. We provide ample photos and detailed descriptions and they reply with an automated one line "not covered" message. These plans they sell through their "authorized retailers" border on theft by deception. Do not under any circumstances purchase one of these plans, they are a total scam and cover absolutely nothing.

      As others have said, Guardsman is a total scam. They don't cover ANYTHING! And you have to go through major hoops to find that out. Phone calls to foreign call centers, online forms with photos and snail mail, also (weird redundancy). By the way, they use the date they happen to receive the snail mail to determine if you turned a claim on within their one month window, NOT the online form you turned in with plenty of time to spare. They don't bother to tell you they denied a basic rip. You don't hear anything within their alleged window of 10 business days. We called a month later, hold forever, be transferred to three different people - with at least one foreign call center along the way and lots of communication and connection troubles - waste time going through ALL of your minute claim details so they can find you in their system, only to be told the department you actually need is closed Wednesdays. You call back, do the same dance again, wasting another hour of phone time, only to have a rude rep tell you they denied your claim for reasons that make NO sense. ****** longer uses them, and I can see why. Horrible!!!! Do NOT buy their alleged "warranty." They will not honor it, and honestly, they should pay ** for the time and energy we wasted trying to get the thing they promised us -- not to mention the insultingly rude customer service. I was truly shocked and appalled by my Guardsman experience. Please, save yourself the money, time and frustration, and avoid at ALL costs.
