      Scam warranty! We noticed some black marks on the back of a sofa, while we were moving the sofa, we noticed some of the sewing is coming apart. While we were loading the sofa on our truck, a sharp end went through the top part of our sofas. so we called since everything above was listed as covered under our warranty and we competed the claim as soon as we noticed everything. The claim got denied due to accumulation of things and wear and tear- We spend hundreds on this warranty that includes a list of covered items- like why would nail polish remover by one of the covered items on there but not black marks?Granted, this warranty was made up to be the best deal there is- however, either the company is lying or the sales *** who offered the warranty at purchase time ***** at explaining what is covered and what is not- because clearly What I was told is completely different from what I purchased. Do not waste your money on this. Also, not sure how they have an A rating with 2.5 stars.

      I purchased a Montage One80 protection plan when I spent over $10,000 at ******, trusting their promise of top-tier service and reliable coverage. Unfortunately, when I filed a minor claim, it was promptly denied without reasonable justification. To make matters worse, they offered only a partial refund and issued the check to me as if I were a business "vendor"—a baffling and questionable move that raises concerns about their practices. It’s clear this company relies on customers never needing to use their warranty or having it expire before any claims arise. The entire experience felt deceptive and unprofessional. Montage One80 gives the impression of a business designed to collect premiums while avoiding accountability. I expected peace of mind and got nothing but frustration. I am requesting a full refund and cannot recommend this service to anyone. Proceed with caution. Furthermore, ****** should be held accountable for partnering with and promoting this misleading warranty provider, as it reflects poorly on their credibility and commitment to customer satisfaction.

      I submitted a claim on 4/18/2025 after coming home to my couch being peed all over from an older dog with bladder issues. I paid $349.99. At time of purchase I was told Montage would replace for a single pet damage incident. I was extremely transparent when I submitted my claim and listed normal wear and tear as well so they couldnt say nothing was disclosed. My claim was denied due to accumulation and normal wear and tear on 4/21/2025. This is the first and only incident I have ever had with a pet. There is no stain or discoloration from the pee as this was the first and only time. I submitted a picture and even explained the smell is the true issue. They claim they cover single pet incidents but that is far from true. They used my transparency with other issues (fabric falling off the underside of ottoman/ and a couple rips on the underside of the couch itself) as a reason to deny the claim as a whole instead of the main issue I listed. And yes, I have the denial paperwork they emailed stating it is denied as well as screenshots of the claim where I explained all of this. I added a note asking a human to call me back- I doubt they will even contact me back simply because they have already deemed the claim denied. It is a money grab- do not waste your time or money- you will only end up with headache and hassle because they use any reason to deny you.

      These folks are nothing but scammers all they want is your money. They will not cover anything . They always have reasons why they wont cover it. Don't waste your money on this insurance scam its a waste of your money.

      Montage is not a warranty worth having, i put in a claim in December for my mattress. They say it is normal wear and tear. However there is a huge lump in the middle of the mattress but i am single and sleep alone on left side of the bed. Every claim that i submit nothing is covered. They take to long to get back to the consumer and purchasing the warranty is a waste of money because they deny claims and there excuse is normal wear and tear. I also have another claim put in for other funiture pieces i have yet to get a response, this one was also submitted in December. They have poor customer service and having the warranty from them is a waste of money it only benfits there company.

      Put in a claim gave my email address and information concerning the issue with the sofa. The representative assured me that they would send a email to me and that I had to send a picture of the couch and of the receipt for the furniture. A month went by and never received any emails, and this was around the holidays in which I was extremely busy as well as my wife. I called back to put in the claim again and once again they didnt send me the email so I called back right away and they sent me the information. They hadnt taken my email down correctly, And thats the reason I hadnt received it the first time. So I sent them the pictures and was told that they would get back to me with either accepting or denying the claim. I told them I would give them my wifes email so we wouldnt have a problem. We still didnt receive an email with an answer so I had to call back. The representative I talked to first was extremely rude and short with me wouldnt let me talk at all, and then hung up on me. I called back. The next representative wasnt nice, but told me since I put in a second claim that my claim was denied. I explained that it wasnt because I forgot it. Its because I never received an email. I spoke to ****** furniture and they said no matter what we paid $700 to have our couch insured and there should not be a problem. I asked the second representative to please have a supervisor call me, but she said no matter what the Supervisor would still deny the claim. Stay away from this company very hard to work with.PART TWO OF REVIEW I was Contacted by ****** she stated that she wanted to talk to me about my concerns. I sent her an email with my phone number and a time to call. She called my wifes phone in which she cannot receive calls at work. I told her to call me through an email and she didnt. I sent her another email where I Pasted the original e-mail. still no response. ****** Gave me a time and a day said she would call my phone number and did not.

      Avoid wasting your money on a plan from Montage. They do not honor their agreements. My plan explicitly covered the damage, yet they were dismissive and condescending, denying my claim right away. I've learned a crucial lesson: always check online reviews before making a purchase. If I had done so, I would have seen the numerous negative reviews highlighting their unfair practices and failure to uphold their commitments.

      I filed a claim for furniture repair under the contract I purchased in the Great American Furniture store around Nov. 2021. The Protection Plan is for 5 years. I received a denial letter stating I filed outside of the time reporting period. I noticed some wearing during the month of January 2025. I didn't request a claim until March 10, 2025, because I was preparing to return to Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, FL. I'm a transplant patient at that hospital. My health is more important than a recliner. Montage Service Center stated: This will be a pro-rated refund based off the time the plan has been in effect. There will be deductions for services rendered under the plan as well as a cancellation fee of $25.00 or 10% of the plan purchase price, whichever is less. I paid $699.00 for a useless protection plan. I'm seeking the full amount of the protection plan.
