On 6/12/23 I looked at purchasing a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from ********** in *********, ********. Prior to finalizing the purchase I asked if the Jeep had air conditioning and if it worked. I was told yes it had air conditioning and it worked well. I also asked if it had rust and was told it did not and it has a lot but I'm not arguing that point. I wired money to complete the purchase and had the Jeep shipped to my home in ******, ********. Upon receipt and inspection of the vehicle I noticed that the Jeep does not have Air Conditioning installed let alone operational. I immediately emailed the dealership and let them know that there was not air conditioning. They emailed me back and I have an email that states that they asked the "lot guy" and he said it had air conditioning and it worked well but the owner didn't check himself. I asked if I could pay to have the Jeep returned to them and forfeit my $500 deposit because this was a misrepresentation of a feature I specifically confirmed and greatly affects the use of the vehicle. They have then strung me on for several weeks but have stopped returning my emails and correspondence. I have tried to be polite and professional but I feel that this was fraud and misrepresentation and being able to return in this situation seems reasonable. I will be out at least $1500 but would really like to get this resolved. They also gavve me a bill o sale saying that I had paid ******** Sales tax and had other ******** fees which is completely false. I also have the original bill of sale and I have not signed it our the title.
