Insideout did a very thorough inspection of the new home we purchased in South Lyon, MI and kept a detailed inspection report that will be useful even post move in for us to keep track of repairs. Their employees were super helpful in giving advice about repairs, maintenance suggestions and even provided step by step instructions for personal maintenance of things like our hot water heater. I was recommended to use InsideOut Inspections by my brother and sister in-law who used them one two different properties.They found mold in the first property so they did not go through with the sale. My brother could not say good enough things about them. We are also SOOO happy that we used them. We decided to have them check out the sewage line in the house we were buying. They found a huge crack in the sewage line leading to the house. Thankfully they caught it because it ended up being a HUGE costly project. Thankfully the owners are fixing it and it was not an expense we had to pay later. They were super friendly, quick, and thorough. They also took the time to explain everything to me in simple terms. Their report was super detailed. We would use them again in a heartbeat!Review from Timika R

Several years ago my son used InsideOut, I was so impressed with their inspection I was allowed to be present for that inspection also) now that I need an inspection I selected InsideOut. Because of this "predisposition" I did not price compare. A very thorough inspection and inspection report. The product is the best thing a buyer can get..I am very happy with how detailed the report is and how significant items are assessed as such. Also of note they encourage us (the client) to be present for the inspection and ask questions. We did take advantage of this policy and it was well worth it.In my opinion the "selling" realtor does NOT want this kind of detailed and thorough report. The selling realtor wants a "quick sale".Note: I don't know if InsideOut is the best BUT what I will say, any realtor that advises against using them is NOT acting in the best interest of the buyer (I concede the realtor is paid by and works for the seller).
