He started work on May 15th, after rescheduling the last 3 weekends in a row. He showed up almost 2 hours late, knowing we had some place to be that day. We discussed what needed to be done then we left for our event around noon. He said he was done around 5:50pm when we were on our way home and was already gone by the time we got there at 6:20pm. We noticed damage all over our fence and asked that he replaced the damage pieces and that we already had the materials. He stated he needed payment within 10 days of service but I felt uncomfortable paying before the damages were fixed. He wrote a note and signed it stating he would not receive final payment until fence was fixed and asked for payment of the work he did that day, so we paid. As we waited for him to finish the yard we noticed other things that we just paid for weren't done correctly. The dirt wasn't dug enough to location specified, unsifted sand was used instead of leveling sand causing damage to pool, extra sand added by side door instead of dirt, left concrete blocks in hill that was asked to be removed and tilled, ran over retaining wall and left it broken, add bad soil, *** buried underground for electric when conduit is needed to be up to code/also wasnt dug deep enough to be up to code. We discussed some of these and the *** mishap is partially my fault because I used the words ***, but I also stated it was for electric two different times. I asked him to fix because a patio was getting poured soon.In the beginning of discussions he knew there was a deadline and said everything would be done before end of May. He kept rescheduling again and it was June 17 when he finally came to finish, but he didn't. He fixed only part of the fence, dug the *** deeper but didn't change it to conduit, then left for a "work emergency". Then the patio was poured. I have asked him if he plans on finishing his work with no response for over 2 months. My yard is a safety hazard for my family and it cost us $4,398.95.

All work was completed properly. The sand type was never specified, I was very clearly specified that it just needed sand to level the area for the pool. The dirt that was used was top soil from a local distributor, not a cheaper dirt that I tried to make money off of. I got the yard to the specified grade we talked about. There was 2 posts in the fence that I had damaged with the machine that I had planned on fixing. The rest of the fence and already been damaged from the large amount of wood and logs they had piled against it. I fixed what I damaged and resumed with other work. We both have a signed copy of the invoice when I received payment. There was no issue them. The issue began when I had to make multiple trips out to change many different things to try to please the homeowner even though I had no obligation to. The hill she is referring to was never put in the original quote or billed for, she asked me to do it so I did what I could with the equipment I had there. There was no money made on this job with the amount of trips and time spend to come back and do tasks that I was not obligated to do but chose to do so to keep the customer happy. I had explained my situation to some local excavation companies near me and asked for advice. They told me to finish what I was committed to and cut ties with the customer. That is what I did. When I didn't come back or respond to the customer after I finished my work the home owner offered me a Marijuana to come back and finish as a bribe. I and 20 years old and she was offering that to me and my crew even though we are all minors. I had been questioning whether I made the right decision to cus ties up until that point but when that happened I knew I had made the right decision. Those are not the kind of people I want my company to have the reputation of working with. I want my company to have the reputation of doing good honest work for good honest people and that is what we strive for here and Fox Underground Services and we will continue to strive for that years to come. I stand behind everything that was done in this situation and will continue to do so.
