I was given a letter stating that I was pre-approved for a loan when it was one day before closing I was told that I did not have a *** number that was assigned to my account that met their 6-month guideline my loan officer stated that they have only ever required for you to be 6 months on the job and that when the loan originated in the *** number was assigned had nothing to do with my time on the job the underwriter then told the loan officer that I had missed 3 months on a credit card payment and that how could I try to apply for a $225,000 home and be late on a credit card payment I then sent all of my credit card statements that reflect I have never been late on a credit card payment I fell as if I have been redlined I have been bait and switched now to save the deal to try and use a product that I am not wanting to use which is ribbon just to save the deal or face losing my money I don't think that this is fair because my employment credit score and payment history are all in good standing I was told then that if I wait till February the underwriter will approve the loan because they said that I am approved for *** but I have to wait until February but in the meantime I have to use this ribbon product I think that this is deceptive practice and I have lost money and have to get another appraisal another lawyer and pay additional closing cost I have already paid for an appraisal home inspection and lawyer I believe that this was a bait and switch practice which has cost me a lot of money and possibly the seller if I choose not to use this ribbon product

      ****************,

Thank you for the opportunity to address your concerns. The customer experience is our number one priority at Amerifirst Home Mortgage. We sincerely apologize that you did not have the experience you were expecting. Amerifirst did have your loan pre-approved in January of this year. Your financial circumstances have since changed and we were no longer able to approve you for an FHA loan. Our loan officer offered you the only product available that allowed you to move forward with the purchase, given your changed circumstances.

I am rejecting this response because:
Wow thanks for this shocking update, you just told me last week that I was approved for FHA but that I had to wait until February, I have been very misled and 1000's of dollars invested, very disappointed.
      Sincerely,
