Surreal that the Police Officers Association of Michigan endorsed ****** bid for President in 2024. How do they square endorsing a convicted Sexual Predator, an Insurrectionist/Seditionist who initiated an attempted Coup detat, an **************Conspirator in ******** Fake Elector Plot, a Malignant Narcissistic Personality Disordered Individual and Sociopath, a Pathological Liar, etc., etc., etc., with **************** POAM had better not call me soliciting a donation!!! ********************************, ************, Michigan *****.Review from Jon H

This is an agency that scams police officer unions into believing they will provide competent legal representation for union members throughout their careers. When I, unfortunately, needed that representation after being charged with a fictitious crime by a prosecutor that was unqualified to take the case, I was assigned ************************* as my union-appointed defense attorney. He refused to even listen to my side of the story until he read the police report, because he didnt want to draw any conclusions. After I requested that he file a motion to have the case reassigned to an independent prosecutor, **** refused my request and referred to it as ***** and frivolous. Considering that ***** only recommendation was that I take a plea, I discontinued his representation and hired my own attorney. Not surprisingly, my new attorney had the originally assigned prosecutor recused and the State AG assigned my case to an independent prosecutorwho declined to prosecute the ridiculous charge. Its unfortunate that POAM collected 10 years worth of union dues from me and the best they could provide for my legal representation was *************************. **** simply refused to put forth any effort to defend me. POAM is a shameful scam that leads their members to feel protected in exchange for monthly dues.
