1/3/22 The company's sales representative contacted me via phone call a few days prior to the date of installation. He told me that I would be able to switch from my current internet company at approximately $90. And would be able to switch to Viasat at a rate of approximately $97 a month. When the technician arrived I called ****** to cancel my internet and was informed through them that it would cost $160 to cancel. Mind you this company sells both Viasat and ****** net. So I told the technician I wanted to cancel the install. He informed me that he couldn't do so without a work order from his company which he would inform them of the issue and someone would call me. I called my sales rep and explained to him the issue and he told me that there is no way they should be charging me that much. He suggested i just remove my bank jnfo from my account so they couldn't charge me and change to the new company anyways. I told him no because I would still have to pay that amount either way because it's my ****. So I asked him to please cancel my order and reinstall my ****** and I would switch over at a future date. He told me he would do it when he got in the office. I tried calling him later that day and he said they were waiting for a work order. I called ****** and they said they sent them one. I tried calling the sales rep again and he didn't answer or call back. On the 4th I still didn't hear from anyone. I called on the 5th and was immediately transfered to ****** which couldn't help me at the time with my issue. I continued to try to call them to sort out the problem but they wouldn't answer of they would hang up on me. I had to call both viasat and ****** net myself to get the problem solved. I informed both companies of what happened to me and was able to resolve with them without incurring any fees but j feel this company needs to be reprimanded ad I am not the only person they have given issues. I will definitely be checking reviews better after this experience
