I made several deposits to my checking account only to have a 0 balance the following day stating my funds were placed back to my other account without my consent nor any alert and upon checking my other accounts nothing was placed transferred nor deposited there, I went up to bank to which no one is able to help me locate my money and was told that there was nothing they could do. I am so frustrated and beyond disappointed Im in complete shock and disgust with this credit Union.Business response

The fees are getting out of control. If your account goes in to the negative even for two seconds they charge $20. I have had instances where my main went into get negative and as soon as I got a notification I transferred money. But this has gotten out of hand and I have been charged $200 in late fees in the last month even though I transferred money right away.I also dont understand how they process transactions. Things I purchased. Week ago will be pending again.. it doesnt make sense. It feels they theyre stealing at this point. I just want the fees reversed. Whats happening is unfair.Business response

Was told I need full coverage insurance which I have. I called the insurance department put me on hold told me everything was fixed then a month later they said I was being charged $3500 for not providing them insurance. Called they called insurance said it was took care of. A month later same thing called my insurance said it was fixed then next month another letter stating I had a lapse in my coverage for a month. So I would be charged $450. Called said it was fixed it wasnt. Got another letter this has been going on for 4 months. Just called said it was fixed. My payment has went up $50 a month so I dont think its fixedBusiness response

I am writing to you with great sadness and concern to express my deep disappointment upon discovering that the money I have in my bank account at **********************, located at the *************** branch in **, has been blocked in 05.15.2023. It may not be a large sum, but it is the result of my honest work. I have been trying in every possible way to resolve the situation, but every time I go to the bank, they create more difficulties and ask for ridiculous things.As a customer of **********************, I have entrusted the institution to manage my resources responsibly and fairly. The money in my account is the result of hard work and dedication, and it is crucial to ensure the livelihood and well-being of my family.I was extremely distressed to learn that United Federal Credit Union has withheld our money, depriving us of access to our own resources. This situation has caused great suffering and significant financial difficulties for me and my family.I sincerely request that you reconsider this withholding and immediately release the available balance in my account. These funds are essential to meet our basic needs, including housing, food, and education.I understand that there may be banking procedures and regulations to be followed, but I implore you to consider the urgency and severity of this situation. I am rejecting this response because:The bank made a demand where it involves third parties and other financial institutions. I made contact with all the people by email and by phone, unfortunately they are not willing to make contact with their financial institutions to ask for letters about the checks issued. I cannot force or demand a person to do something he is not willing to do. Please, can I prove that I have tried and failed to meet the requirements of the United Federal Credit Union bank.

I have a loan thru United FCU for my car i bought in about end of May. I had insurance on my previous vehicle and switched it over to my new one at the dealership while buying the car. A couple months after United FCU then added a Forced Placed CPI insurance payment on my account without even contacting me directly. I proceeded to call the branch and was told they cant help me and i had to email ************************************ i emailed them then got a call back and spoke to a man who said to send in my previous insurance and the new one i had switched over to in september. i proceeded to do that and he said it would fix my account in a few days. nothing happened so i emailed again then got another call from a woman, she had me send in the same things, told me the same thing it would be fixed in a few days and the late fees would be waived. only part of the cpi came off and i still had over $1000 of it on there and the late fee never got waived. i kept waiting for the rest to come out and it never did, so i tried contacting them again and got no response. the people at the branch say they cant do anything for me from there which makes no sense. and im only given an email to the insurance people who haven't answered me in over a month. i have another late fee now and my payments are over $800 when it was $454 originally. i dont want to pay double nor pay the late fees for something i was told would be resolved and waived. they neglect to help me in any way and its gonna make my credit look bad. i would appreciate any help possible because whats the point of having insurance when im gonna get treated like i dont and be used like this. thanks.Business response

Bought vehcile used United federal credit Union to pay for said vehicle. Have paid said vehcile off over a month ago, received termination statement and multiple letters in the mail from the bank have not received title keep getting told it will arrive in 2 day ship. 2 day ship has been their go to line for over a month, then they said the address came back as a bad address and did not tell me!!!! Just didnt say anything!!!??!!? How is it a bad address though when you have sent me multiple other things in the mail? I would never bank with them or deal with them again, I need my title shipped to me overnight so I can get my plates renewed before getting a ticket! Complete bill c*** of a bankBusiness response

I've been with UFCU for just over 6 years, during this time I have had several hardships including myself being laid off, my husband being laid off, covid, and having an unexpected health issue all effecting my income. UFCU during this time has had limited options for me during any of these hardship and making it more difficult for me. I have been denied refinancing, payment arrangement, change of due date and return of late fees. I've struggled immensely since entering into this loan and have mainly dealt with negative customer service attitude and no resolution to my problems. To date I've been charged $570 in late fees, over an entire payment due to them being unwilling to work with me. I'm so close to having this paid in full and still recieve threats of repossession even after explaining my hardships while receiving little to no empathy. My states unemployment is extraordinarily backed up with us having to wait 2 years to recieve payment. Something we never expected to have to go through, but the pandemic has left us here with little financial resource and companies like UFCU not caring about their struggling customers. They were great the first 3 months into the pandemic offering help to everyone, but that quickly changed.I'd like to resolve this by having my late fees removedBusiness response

I was contacted by UFCU on July 13th about a possible fraudulent charge. We decided that it was a fraudulent charge and shut the debit card down. They were mailing me out a new one that I would receive in 7 to 10 business days. After waiting that time and calling back on July 29th, it was discovered that they never processed out a new card. A new card was issued and expedited service put on it. I spoke with someone on August 1st who was a "manager" and was told a new card had been printed. Today is August 3rd and I still do not have a card and when I checked the tracking provided by UFCU, it shows the package is still at the bank.That is a total of 22 days and 16 business days that I have not had access to my money. That's 3/4 of a month. That's 6.5% of a year. They dropped the ball and no one seems to care that I'm handcuffed on what/how/where I can do and go through no fault of my own and them dropping the ball.This is absolutely unacceptable and not a single employee at that bank would put up with not having access to their funds. No one can help, can't do anything, etc. UFCU used to have outstanding customer service but sadly it seems to have gone by the wayside the last 2-3 years Oh, and to top it off, it looks like they did process the fraudulent charge and it doesn't appear to have been refundedBusiness response
